Markus Robinson | 6’1″ SO | Finney High School
We start out with probably the most exciting offensive player in the area. In his 22 Freshman season games for Finney, he scored 43.5 points per game in about 31 minutes per game. He possesses a silky-smooth off-the-dribble jumper that he can regularly use to drain shots, especially threes, in the faces of defenders that don’t give him enough attention. Pair that with the comparative strength, speed, and athleticism to slice his way inside as needed, and he becomes practically unstoppable offensively. He shows the ability and engine to make plays defensively, as well.
Quanmay Early | 5’8″ SR | Vertus High School
Early is a crafty, scrappy, inside-outside guard that averaged 17.5 points, 2.5 assists, and 5.5 rebounds in 15 games last season. Offensively, he seems to use his touches to either nail catch-and-shoot 3s, or drive hard to the paint. Defensively, he is able to be disruptive inside and out. That’s reflected in his ability to get about a steal and a block each game. Similarly, his ability to grab those 5-ish boards each game reinforces that he’s willing and able to get inside and be effective.
Maurice Mckinney | 6’0″ SR | Leadership Academy
As one of the top ranked Point Guards in Section 5, Mckinney averaged 20 points and 4.3 assists in his Junior season at the Leadership Academy. He is an athletic combo-guard at the point that is more than comfortable as his team’s dominant ball-handler. His shooting stroke is unconventional, but effective off-the-dribble and off the catch. He also has the ability to rise and fire mid-range jumpers in traffic, which will come in handy at higher levels of competition.
Jacob Shadders | 6’1″ SR | Pittsford Mendon
Shadders is a quality all-around player. He shows the ability to make plays on both sides of the ball, score efficiently from all three levels, and make effective passes both in half court sets and in transition. Regularly notching double-figures, he serves as a fundamental piece in Mendon’s offense and was instrumental in an undefeated season his Sophomore year.
