– Beaver Dam:
Abel is a transparent, consistent prospect. He consistently provides stable ball-handling and team-first decision making. He’s not physically imposing but uses a smaller frame to fit passes and layup attempts through small windows. On the high school stage, he is no slouch in the numbers column. Last season he averaged 21 points, 2.9 assists, and 5.2 assists per game.

– Sussex Hamilton:
Resch transformed his playstyle in the last year. Once a pure shooter, Resch packed on muscle and added aggressiveness to his game. This summer his versatility shined, and in his best games, he put his head down and attacked for the majority of his points. His isolation jumper also looked smoother and more efficient.

– Kenosha Indian Trail:
Stargell has been looked over for the past few years, but sneakily he’s showcased one of the best careers in the class. He averaged 15.8 points per game in his sophomore season and 16.2 last season. Scoring is his secondary skill, too. He’s a crippling headache for opposing coaches when he’s passing well. His vision is next-level, as he can toss 80-foot dimes across the floor or get fancy and weave a pass between a defender’s legs. His instinct on defense also catches my eye immediately. He snatches lob passes and picks pockets like it’s nothing.

– Milwaukee King:
Bradley’s skills point to a role as a two-way guard. His aggressive, on-ball defense caught my eye this summer, while his ability to get it done at the rim whatever way possible should profile well at the next level.

– Brown Deer:
Wade made an appearance with Wisconsin Playground Club this summer, but I didn’t get a great sample size from the tournament. Still, with one of the purest jumpers in the state and a helpful wingspan, he’s a prospect worth serious consideration. Additionally, Wade plays a combo guard role with Brown Deer. He could play either but may need to tighten his handle at the point guard role.

Hortonville | 2021

WI
– Hortonville:
The Hortonville guard led a largely unheralded Hortonville roster to a surprise season last year. The guard has a muscular frame and stocky, athletic theme throughout his playstyle. His most attractive trait is his balanced skillset. He’s not a pure shooter but can rattle off four threes on any given night. He isn’t a pass-first player but gave Hortonville its balance with selfless play and passing. He does a lot of things very well, which bodes well for a potential college career.

– Onalaska:
Kick sees things before they happen. Although he didn’t get many minutes this summer with Wisconsin Playground Club, he was First Team All-Conference on a top team in Wisconsin because of his IQ. He could comfortably score and create off the dribble because he finds gaps in the defense for jumpers, or can stun his defender with a cross and slip into the lane for a layup. Like how he scores and sees the floor, which is valuable at every level.
