What 16u talents showed that they seem to have the potential to be scholarship basketball players?  We look at guys that went from "maybes" to "most likelys" or "certainlys" this summer. 

Thomas DiewThomasDiew6'7" | CSt. Cloud Apollo | 2022StateMN of Minnesota Comets (St. Cloud Apollo).  

Why? Diew was the Comets second leading scorer and at times he was their main option because most teams didn’t have player big enough and agile enough to defend Thomas around the basket.  Diew’s strength held his spot and allowed him to be a low block playmaker.  

Evan DushekEvanDushek6'6" | PFOwatonna | 2022StateMN of Minnesota Select 17s (Owatonna). 

Why? At a out 6-foot-8 and anchored on the block, Evan is set to be one of the toughest players to move in the paint the next two seasons.  What separates Evan from other bigs of similar size is Evan’s developing scoring touch from many different angles on the floor. 

Brady HelgrenBradyHelgren6'7" | SFEdina | 2022StateMN of Minnesota Fury (Edina). 

Why? Brady fell into the four man active scoring role very well for the Fury.  He was a dependable five basket, six rebound a game player for the Fury.  This is a Fury team that rarely got in situations where a player needed to individually
