Here were some of the top 15Us from the weekend
Adam Jenkins, ECI Prospects
Jenkins is an intriguing big man prospect out of Moorhead who looked excellent in a rim-running, rim-protecting role. He’s big and long, and does a great job attacking the offensive glass. He runs the floor well. And he’s mobile enough to defend smaller guys on the perimeter in small spurts.
Jack Lang, SE MN Lightning
Lang does a great job running the team and controlling the pace of play. He’s a sound decision-maker and always under control, and he’s an excellent shooter in catch-and-shoot situations as well as off the dribble.
Luke McCullough, Fury Hayes
McCullough shot the ball at a high level over the weekend, showcasing the ability to knock down shots from the 3-point line as well as in the mid-range. He’s an athletic kid with a high motor and looked smooth creating his own shot with one or two dribble pull ups and his size allows him to play and finish through contact.
Andrew Elton, SW MN Stars
Elton is an active interior presence who does a great job protecting the paint on the defensive end of the floor. He contests everything at the rim, fights hard to limit low post touches and was usually in good position to help on dribble penetration. And on the offensive end, he’s good in a low-maintenance, rim-running role because of his activity level and mobility.
Buai Duop, SE MN Lightning
Duop is a big-bodied post who rebounds at a high level and finishes well inside. He’s got a quicker second jump than you’d expect to go along with long arms and does a great job carving out space inside to control the paint.
Nathan Fenske, SW MN Stars
Fenske showed a lot of flashes over the weekend as a multi-level scorer. He’s a terrific shooter from deep range and has the ability to get into the paint and make plays with ease. He’s a strong athlete and has good size to impact the game on both ends of the floor.
Jonah Vierstraete, SW MN Stars
Vierstraete is an aggressive, athletic swingman who is always in attack mode. He’s got good size and does a great job getting to the rim, using his explosiveness and quickness to beat primary defenders off the bounce.
Myles Adams, MN Select Koch
Adams is an explosive, powerful forward who does a great job contesting shots at the rim and finishing everything around the hoop. He’s got great hands and does a good job carving out space to make himself available for drop offs and on duck ins. His offense is raw, but he impacts the game in the meantime because of his motor.
