Some of the top teams from Minnesota, the Dakotas and Wisconsin were in Sioux Falls last weekend for the Summer Slam.

Here were some of the top players from Saturday play:

Carson WoodfordCarsonWoodford6'7" | CRedwood Valley | 2022StateMN, SW MN Stars

Woodford doesn’t take long to make his presence felt. He’s big, long, strong and active on both ends of the floor. He’s a strong rim protector and area rebounder on the defensive end of the floor. He runs hard, fights for position inside with the strength to shield off defenders around the rim. And he’s got the mobility and skills to stress defenders and create his own offense from 17 feet and in.

Jackson LogeJacksonLoge6'7" | PFMorris Area | 2022StateMN, Fury Wilde

Loge is one of the highly touted 2022 players in the state and it’s easy to see why. His activity level on both ends of the floor impacts the game in a big way. His defensive prowess around the rim raises the level of the entire team defense. He sets good screens, he is active on the offensive glass, he’s a high-level finisher in traffic and is skilled enough to manufacture his own production.
