With the summer AAU season being cut short, players need ways to keep up their competitive drive. Practices are a good supplement as it provides them with the opportunity to push themselves against their peers. SJR Elite had a training session today, which showcased an intriguing group of prospects. Here are the top standouts from the SJR Elite practice.

Savon Myers Savon Myers 6'4" | SF Manchester Township | 2022 State NJ , 6’4 SF Manchester Township 2022

Myers had a strong showing throughout the practice as he proved why he is one of the most under the radar prospects in the Shore Conference. The 6’4 wing was at his best during the 3-on-3 sessions as he showed assertiveness when he attacked the basket. Myers pushed the ball in transition and has a nice touch around the basket. He made good passes in the halfcourt and played solid defense. Myers is an athletic wing prospect who should have a good 2020-21 season for the Hawks.

Tristan Guilloutte, 6’7 C Westampton Tech 2023

Guilloutte was the tallest player at the practice, but that was not the only reason he stood out. The 6’7 big man showcased a nice release on his jumper, knocking down several mid-range jumpers during a full court
