Isaiah Elohim (Heritage Christian, WG) Some players that you come across just stand out in front of others and that was exactly what Elohim did. With off the dribble moves leading to crafty finishes at the rim and a couple of jumpers off the spin, Elohim had 23 points in the best of 24 game. He shows an affinity to get to the basket and is a natural scorer. Heritage Christian loses Skyy Clark, Max Allen Max Allen 6'8" | C CA-S , and Dillon Depina but will present an opportunity for Elohim to come in and make an impact right away.
Seven Bahati (Ribet Academy, W) The 6’4 wing is one of the most versatile players to hit the floor. He is athletic and knows how to utilize his physical tools to make an impact all over the floor. Bahati has great vision and feel for the game. He passes the ball well for a wing, is an excellent finisher around the rim, and plays both sides of the ball. On defense, he utilizes his athleticism to contest shots and perform chase down blocks. Bahati is a very intriguing prospect and joins a well rounded Ribet Academy program.
James Evans (West Ranch, W) Another big time explosive player who showcased his skills on Saturday, was Evans. The 6’5″ wing is a very versatile player who also does a lot on the floor. Evans shows the potential to play many positions as he did a great job rebounding and passing the rock. On the offensive end, he had 15 points on several flashy and explosive finishes at the rim. Evans will be another player to keep an eye on.
Darryl Morris (Undecided, G) Finishing the game with 18 points, Morris was one of the top scorers of the top 2024 game. The game looks like it comes easy to him as Morris made the right plays and didn’t force it when he was on the court. He made the right passes and cuts on offense. The potential in Morris is evident as he scored in many ways. Currently, Morris is undecided on which high school he will attend.
Kory Dodson (Riverside Poly, G) The 6’3″ babyfaced guard plays with passion and IQ. He is another player with a high ceiling and skill set. Basketball is in the genes as Dodson will play for his father Yancy Dodson at Riverside Poly. He will also get a chance to play right away with the departures of seniors Lamont Butler Lamont Butler 6'1" | PG Riverside Poly | 2020 State #151 Nation CA-S and DJ Davis DJ Davis 5'11" | SG Corona Centennial | 2020 State #291 Nation CA-S .
