This series will take a look at some lesser-known players from smaller schools across Kentucky that have or will tear it up at the varsity level. You might not be able to find their hometown on a map, but that hasn’t stopped them from making a name for themselves.

Tanner WaltonTannerWalton6'3" | SGLexington Christian | 2022StateKY, Lexington Christian (2022) - Walton led LCA in nearly every statistical category last season and is having a good AAU season thus far. Tanner has D1 interest from several schools and there is good reason why. He may be the most efficient scorer in the state. As a Sophomore, the 6’3 guard scored 21.5 points on 58/49/77 shooting splits while also leading the team in rebounding at 7 per game.

Jackson TwomblyJacksonTwombly6'6" | PFFrankfort | 2022StateKY, Frankfort (2022) - The 6’6 forward is an inside out threat who could be a stretch 4 at the next level. Averaging 14 points and 5 rebounds per game as a Sophomore, Jackson made the most of his limited post touches, shooting 53% from the field. He struggled from three, only making 10 out of 46 tries but his low post game is so polished that he may earn a scholarship at the
