Tanner Walton Tanner Walton 6'3" | CG Lexington Christian | 2022 State KY , Lexington Christian (2022) – Walton led LCA in nearly every statistical category last season and is having a good AAU season thus far. Tanner has D1 interest from several schools and there is good reason why. He may be the most efficient scorer in the state. As a Sophomore, the 6’3 guard scored 21.5 points on 58/49/77 shooting splits while also leading the team in rebounding at 7 per game.
Jackson Twombly Jackson Twombly 6'7" | PF Woodford County | 2022 State KY , Frankfort (2022) – The 6’6 forward is an inside out threat who could be a stretch 4 at the next level. Averaging 14 points and 5 rebounds per game as a Sophomore, Jackson made the most of his limited post touches, shooting 53% from the field. He struggled from three, only making 10 out of 46 tries but his low post game is so polished that he may earn a scholarship at the next level as an undersized post.
Zander Collett, Sayre (2022) – One of the top returning players in the city of Lexington, Collett is a slashing guard who can get in the paint and finish. After scoring 16 points per game as a Sophomore, Zander is going to have even more of a scoring burden moving forward with Will Hairston Will Hairston 6'2" | CG Sayre | 2020 State KY ’s graduation.
Bryson Perry, Model (2021) – The leading returning scorer for Model, Perry is an all around scorer who can get to the rim or knock down 3s. Bryson and his brother Jackson are going to share most of the scoring and playmaking duties for the Patriots in their senior season.
Kade Grundy Kade Grundy 6'0" | SG Somerset | 2021 State KY , Somerset (2021) – One of the best all around athletes in the state, Grundy is a three sport star who is committed to play baseball at Louisville in college. On the court, he averaged over 18 points per game for the 12th region All A champs. He does a little bit of everything for his team and will be in the mix for 12th region player of the year as a Senior.
Dante Hayden Dante Hayden 5'11" | CG Danville | 2022 State KY , Danville (2021) – A volume scorer who can heat up in a hurry, Hayden is a shifty guard who can attack the rim but is more known as a shooter. Dante attempted more 3s than 2s in his Junior season and would likely see his averages increase if he got to the rim more instead of sometimes settling for 3s.
