The ShoreShots 15U roster is filled with talented point guards who are ready for a big summer season. Here are the top point guards on the ShroeShots 15U roster.
Aaron Goldstein, 5’10 Xavieran (NY)
Goldstein plays with extreme confidence and shows during the practice. The 5’10 point guard is creative with the ball in his hands as he had several nifty finishes around the basket. Goldstein was tough to keep out of the lane during the live drills and knew how to keep his teammates involved. He has a smooth jump shot and played solid defense. Goldstein is a skilled point guard prospect who is ready to lead the ShoreShots 15U Orange Team.
Kyle Gamber, 6’1 Poly Tech (DE)
Gamber had a strong session as he proved to be one of the better ball-handlers at the practice. The 6’1 guard has a quick first step and uses it to get by his defender in the halfcourt. Gamber can finish around the basket and is decisive with the ball in his hands. He ran the offense smoothly during the 5-on-5 games, but is also capable of playing off the ball. Gamber is a talented guard prospect who should be the lead guard for the ShoreShots 15U Black Team.
Malachi Harris, 5’9 Freehold Township
Harris was at his best during the 1-on-1 sessions as he gave it to Goldstein. The 5’9 point guard was able to get to the rim and finish around the basket. Harris pushed the ball forward in transition during the 5-on-5 games and was strong in the pick and roll game. He played tough defense throughout the day and made good passes. Harris is a dynamic point guard who is the perfect option to lead the ShoreShots 15U Blue Team.
Kyle Verriest Kyle Verriest 5'11" | PG St. John Vianney | 2023 State NJ , 5’11 St. John Vianney
Verriest is one of the toughest guards in the 2023 class, which was on full display during the practice. The 5’11 guard for the ball during the 3-on-2 transition and rebound drill. Verriest attacked the basket hard and did well during the guard drills. He was tough to stop in the 1-on-1 drills and played solid defense during the 5-on-5 games. Verriest will probably have to play off the ball with Goldstein, but his toughness and skill makes him a perfect compliment in the Orange Team backcourt.
Collin Teter, 5’10 Red Bank Regional
Teter may be more of a shooting guard for the ShoreShots Blue Team, but he has the ability to play on the ball. The 5’10 guard is a good shooter who has a nice form and a quick release on his shot. Teter moves well off the ball as he spotted up in the right spot on a couple of occasions during the 2-on-2 drills. He performed well during the guard drills as he showed off his good handle and ability to finish at the basket. Teter is the perfect compliment to Harris in the backcourt as he provides the Blue Team with a sharpshooter in the backcourt.
