Josh Johnson Josh Johnson 5'11" | SG South Garner | 2022 State NC | 5’11 Guard | 2022
Johnson was one of the leading scorers on the weekend for No Guts No Glory. In his best performance of the weekend, he put up 19 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals, though it came in a 67-66 loss. He’s a three-level scorer that’s also an active playmaker and defender with nice length. As he gets stronger and learns to play more physical, he’s one to watch for this group.
Patrick Malott Patrick Malott 6'1" | CG Apex | 2022 State NC | 6’1 Guard | 2022
Malott is a strong guard that plays to make an impact on both ends. He can score it on all three levels and uses his high IQ to make plays with the ball in his hands. He showed he can distribute, rebound and defend for this squad this past weekend and should do so consistently for this squad. He’s an underrated athlete that plays with high energy.
Elijah Harris | 6’5 Forward | 2022
Harris was one of the consistent pieces for No Guts No Glory in the frontcourt. He’s got nice size at 6-foot-5 that he uses well to score in the paint and rebound the ball. He put up seven points and eight rebounds in his best game of the weekend in a victory. As he learns to make an impact on the defensive end, he’s a name to watch for this team.
Sawyer Simick | 6’4 Forward/Wing | 2022
Simick was another consistent frontcourt player this past weekend but he did so with his ability to rebound and defend in the paint. He’s not a top-notch shotblocker per se, but he’s able to force turnovers and make his presence felt in other ways. He’s learning to play with a high motor on both ends.
Jakobi Bobbitt | 6’0 Guard | 2022
Bobbitt is a lead guard that can get to the rim and score it. He put up 10 points in his best scoring game of the weekend. As he learns when to score and when to run the offense, he’ll give this squad an X-Factor-like feel. When he’s on and in a rhythm, he’s hard to stop.
Jamall Norris | 6’0 Guard | 2022
Norris is a new face on this squad and adjusting to his role as a reserve. As he does, look for him to be a spark with his ability to shoot the 3-ball and get to the riim. He’s got an underrated isolation game.
Josh Bailey | 6’3 Forward | 2023
Bailey is one of two prospects on No Guts No Glory playing up an age division in the grassroots season. He’s shown he can be active on the glass and get to the paint and finish around the rim. As he learns to play at his speed and not play too fast, he’s a young prospect with room to grow with this squad.
Other Notable Prospects:
Trevon Kittrell | 6’1 Wing/Forward | 2022
Eric Morgan | 6’2 Guard | 2022
D.R. McMillian | 6’2 Guard/Wing | 2022
