Continue ReadingThe class of 2021 in the Houston area is littered with talent, however, the class of 2022 looks to be just as special of a group. Whatever type of player that a program is looking for can be found in this class, so much so that it was difficult to limit this list to 8 players. And because there is so much talent, the goal here is to shine a spotlight on some players that SHOULD NOT be overlooked. Lets go!!
Elijah Hill – Madison HS | 6’5 G/F
#4EverYoungFilms
Watch your head! This youngin gets UP!Eli says he’s underrated and this weekend he played like he wanted to rise his stock

Eli is a long 6’5 SF that plays hard on both ends. His athleticism allows him to finish above the rim, even in traffic, in addition to being a good rim protector. He is transitioning into playing more of a guard role, expanding his game to the perimeter. (HUDL – http://www.hudl.com/v/2DHdX6)
Isaiah Barganier Isaiah Barganier 6'7" | SF Fulshear | 2022 State TX – Fulshear HS | 6’6 F/G
Isaiah is a versatile player that can play on the perimeter or on the block. He’s about 6’6 with a wide frame and he is able to use it effectively depending on his match up. Extremely smooth in his movements on the court, able to make shots from the perimeter and can protect the rim pretty effectively. (HUDL: http://www.hudl.com/v/2CWyhu)
Austin Benigni Austin Benigni 5'10" | PG The Woodlands Christian | 2022 State TX – Woodlands Christian HS | 5’11 PG
Austin is a quick and shifty PG that uses these attributes to his advantage. He is creative in making space for him to score as well as to facilitate to his teammates. On the perimeter, he can make shots off the dribble or as a spot up shooter and as a “floor general” he sees the entire floor well.
Chancellor White Chancellor White 6'6" | SG Richmond Foster | 2022 State TX – Foster HS | 6’5 G
Chancellor is a rangy guard with long arms that can shoot from anywhere on the court. He is about 6’5 or so and he is able to see / and shoot over most defenders. He has gotten stronger as he has developed so now, even with a slim frame, he is strong enough to get in the paint and finish. (HUDL: http://www.hudl.com/v/2DHZ2W)
Terrance Arceneaux Terrance Arceneaux 6'7" | SF Beaumont United | 2022 State #46 Nation TX – Beaumont United HS | 6’7 G
A big guard at 6’7, Terrance lacks nearly nothing on the floor. He is able to dribble effectively enough to where he is seen playing a little PG from time to time. He is athletic and can shoot the three, particularly from the corners. Defensively, he is active enough to spear head a pressing style defense. (HUDL: http://www.hudl.com/v/2DTqyU)
Jaleen Goodman – Summer Creek HS | 5’10 PG
I have really been impressed with Mr. Goodman. His passion for the game sets him aside from a lot of players. It matters not, who is in the paint, he is going to challenge you and, more times that not, win. He plays with “sauce,” can shoot the ball efficiently and is an absolute pest on defense.
Trey Miller – Concordia Lutheran HS | 6’1 PG
Trey has a mature game that is conducive to any system. He has great vision, good size for the PG position, patience and a certain poise about his game. He is a high IQ guy that picks and chooses when to score or when to make sure that everyone else is involved in the game. (HUDL: http://www.hudl.com/v/2Cin0r)
Mo Muoneke – Cy Ranch HS | 6’5 G/F
One of the most impressive attributes about Dubem is his quick twitch, fast and explosive reactions to what is going on on the court. Normally, players that possess this attribute is athletic and this is definitely the case with him. Can score from the perimeter, defend nearly everyone one the court and put defenders in the rim! (HUDL: http://www.hudl.com/v/2D4GYB)
Bryan Etunmu – Kempner HS | 6’7 F/C
Bryan is an absolute rim protector defensively. He is still a bit raw offensively but still effective inside. Capable of knocking down occasional outside shots, Bryan’s bread is butter (offensively) on the block where he can finish above the rim and rebounds at a high rate. (HUDL: http://www.hudl.com/v/2DcPws)
Dylan Glover Dylan Glover 6'4" | SG PSAT Academy | 2023 State TX – Bryan HS | 6’1 G
“Get the shooter!” Dylan is a player that cannot be left alone. He shoots the ball with efficiency and he uses this aspect of his game to open up driving lanes for himself and teammates. He has a pretty tight handle and a nice strong frame which makes him effective when he gets to the paint as well. (HUDL: http://www.hudl.com/v/2DmiLp)
