This is my in-depth scouting report on the standout forwards and centers at the Prep Hoops Midwest Showdown. These were the players that caught my eye from Minnesota. This tournament was a fantastic showcase of all of the talent present in the midwest, many of which will receive a major uptick in recruiting! Be on the lookout for the rest of my coverage from this event!

Pharell is an enormous and strong paint presence. He sets bone-crushing screens that free up his teammates and is very aware on when to roll to the basket for easy looks or pop to try and stretch the floor. His tremendously long arms should be a good indication that he is not growing, but now he is dominating under the rim with this frame. As he continues to add strength to his body he will only become a better player. I would like to see more work on foot speed and agility, as well as the ability to go up for boards multiple times.
