This tournament was a fantastic showcase of all of the talent in the area, many of which will receive a major uptick in recruiting! Be on the lookout for the rest of my coverage from this event!
AJ Hutchinson 2021 6’0 Colorado Anarchy 17U- Frederick High School
AJ is an intelligent guard who creates well for others. He is great at playing engaged on-ball defense and pressures the ball very well in the full court. He displayed a tight handle and ability to break down his defenders and get by them. His ability to get his own shot off even despite tough defense was impressive and showed how well he can score the rock.
Cole Bowen Cole Bowen 6'1" | CG Rampart | 2021 State CO 2021 6’1 Colorado Mayhem- Turner 17U- Rampart High School
Cole is an intelligent ball-handler and knows when to make the right pass. His ability to break down full and half-court pressure and ability to handle good on-ball defense was impressive. I would like to see more confidence finishing around the rim with either hand.

2021 6’0 Thunderridge High School
Garrett is a great point guard who always has his head up to make the right decision in the full and half-court. He is great at setting up his teammates and creating open looks for them. He displayed great control and touch on his passes, no matter the distance. He likes getting into the paint and then firing creative passes out to his shooters.
Shamell Ponds 2021 5’8 Lincoln High School Guard
Shamell, little brother of NBA player Shamorie Ponds is an intelligent and crafty player. He is great at utilizing his speed and agility to get by defenders and get to the rim. He is great at creating for his teammates and seems to always make the right reads in transition. I would like to see more skill finishing around the rim and stretching out the defense.
