Matt Thompson 6’2″ Missouri Flight 17U: The 2021 guard from Smith-Cotton was one of the shooters in the event during the weekend. His smooth stroke extends well beyond the 3-point line and he does a great job of moving without the ball and doing his work to get his feet set when its time to shoot. He also has solid handles and can create a shot off the dribble as well.
Karter Koenig 6’6″ Missouri Mavericks 17U: A robust 2021 lefty post player from Westran who was tough to move around when he established his plot of real estate in the lane. He has good footwork and a nice drop step in the lane as he finished at a high rate. There’s nothing fancy about his game, but it was very effective.
Ke’lyjah Carter 5’10″ Missouri Elite 17U: A quick and talented 2021 combo guard who shot the ball well throughout the weekend, but he broke loose for 20 points in his team’s final game on Sunday. He did a great job of knocking down 3-pointers from the corner. He was also a factor on defense with his speed and quickness. Attends Jefferson City.
Sonny Amabile Sonny Amabile 5'9" | CG Windsor | 2021 State MO 5’9″ 34Hoops 17U: The 2021 point guard from Windsor was very solid on Sunday afternoon as he used his dribble penetration to create some open looks for his teammates. He shot the ball well from distance off the screen in the pick and roll.
Gavin Davis Gavin Davis 6'4" | PF Willard | 2022 State MO 6’4″ Missouri Flight 16U: A very solid 2022 forward from Willard who scored 19 points in a victory over Missouri Elite on Sunday. He put in a strong effort inside as he got buckets and rebounded at a very high level. He also put in a couple of buckets after some nice drives from the wing.
Harrison Doennig 6’6″ ShoMe Assault 15U: A talented 2023 post player from Kickapoo who was very skilled around the basket. His moves were good and he finished well with both hands. He also had a nice transition dunk while running the court. Young man has a nice future ahead of him.
