The action kicks off Friday night, and the event will feature three straight days of top-notch basketball featuring some of the best talents the midwest has to offer. I’ll be in the gym in Council Bluffs, while some other Nebraska teams will be traveling to the Jammin in July event in Ames. Here are some Nebraska prospects worth keeping an eye on this weekend.
Jayden Dawson Jayden Dawson 6'4" | CG Omaha Central | 2022 State NE (Team Factory 16U)-2022
A 6’4 guard, Dawson had a good weekend in Ames at the Midwest Festival of Teams last weekend and will look to continue a strong start to his summer campaign. An efficient outside shooter, who is also crafty with the ball in his hands, look for Dawson to play a vital role for Factory this weekend. Factory is back in Ames this weekend participating in the Jammin in July event.

Daniel Brocaille Daniel Brocaille 6'4" | SF Papio South | 2022 State NE (Team Factory 16U)- 2022
PrepHoops Minnesota’s Ryan James named Brocaille as one of his Top Stockrisers from last weekend in Ames. He’ll look to carry that momentum into this weekend’s festivities Brocaille is a tough forward who isn’t afraid to crash the boards. He’s also got a good looking midrange jumper. We’ll see if he can repeat last week’s stellar performance when he’s back in Ames this weekend.
Luke Jungers Luke Jungers 6'9" | PF Omaha Creighton Prep | 2022 State NE (OSA Crusaders 16U)- 2022
Jungers recently picked up his first two D1 offers from Tennesse Tech and Coastal Carolina. He will look to add to his already rising stock this weekend. Jungers is a long forward, who couples great rebounding ability with a good looking and efficient jump shot. He’s got all the tools to make a big impact on OSA this weekend.
Kyle Ingwerson Kyle Ingwerson 6'6" | SF Papillion-LaVista | 2022 State NE (OSA Crusaders 16U)- 2022
Ingwerson might have the purest three-point stroke in the state, but he’s more than just a shooter. He’s a skilled ball handler who can also make plays for his teammates. Defensively he uses his length to guard multiple positions and rebound effectively.
Pierce Bazil (Lincoln Supreme National 17U)- 2021
One of the most under the radar scorers and overall prospects in the state, Bazil, is sneaky explosive as a 6’3 guard. He’s most consistent in the mid-range game and is a steady leader on the court. Look for him to run the show for Lincoln Supreme’s 17U squad this weekend.
Cale Jacobsen Cale Jacobsen 6'3" | CG Ashland Greenwood | 2022 State NE (Lincoln Supreme National 16U)- 2022
Jacobsen is one of the state’s most athletic guards, and he certainly looks much older than a soon to be high school junior. Having received some D1 interest so far this summer, his first weekend of live event action could earn him that highly coveted first D1 offer. He’s a 3 level scorer with a high basketball IQ. I would not be surprised to see him end up on a highlight reel by the weekend’s end. Lincoln Supreme will be in Ames this weekend.
