Council Bluffs, IA- Friday night saw the first night of action in the 2020 Midwest Live Showcase Event at the Iowa West Fieldhouse in Council Bluffs. Teams from eight different states descended upon the fieldhouse to kick off a weekend of top-notch competition. Here are some players who stood out to me throughout the evening as I watched various Nebraska based programs and Nebraska high school talent to start the weekend off.

OSA National Zumbrennen got their weekend off to a roaring start with 80-34 victory over Colorado Roughriders. Jones, a soon to be sophomore at Papillion-LaVista South lead OSA 15 points on 6-7 shooting from the field, along with going 3-4 from the free-throw line and bringing in 6 rebounds. He was all over the court. Boudreau has one of the best looking jump shots in the state of Nebraska. He finished with 13 points on 5-8 shooting, while also being a perfect 3-3 from three-point range.
