The West Central Wildcats beat Iowa Elite twice, beat Play4him academy, and knocked off All Iowa Attack Black in the championship. They won with the team basketball that was played. A lot of great passing which led to a bunch of open threes knocked down.
Brady Kienitz Brady Kienitz 5'10" | PG MACCRAY | 2021 State MN of MACCRAY (6’1 guard). Brady was the most consistent player all weekend running the point for WC. Brady handled the pressure from opponents and was able to get his team into their offense. Averaged 14 points per game throughout the weekend with a lot of those coming from lefty finishes inside or from the perimeter. Averaged 20.4 points, 6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game last year as a junior.
Jacob Hennen Jacob Hennen 6'3" | SG Minneota | 2021 State MN from Minneota (6’4 wing). After not playing this past year it was really impressive with how Jacob moved without the basketball and was crafty around the rim to complete plays. Took advantage of post players who were guarding him on the perimeter breaking them down and either shooting from the perimeter or getting past them to go finish or find the open man. This is a talented player who will someday be a good college basketball player.
Ben Peterson Ben Peterson 6'2" | PG Benson | 2021 MN of Benson (6’1 guard). Ben averaged 18.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game this year for Benson and he will have them as one of the better 30 teams in Class AA next season. Peterson is a fast, athletic guard who has a quick release from the outside. Has a microwave type game as he can get hot in a hurry. One of the most improved kids we’ve seen or heard about this summer.
Broden Fleisher Broden Fleisher 6'3" | SF Frazee | 2021 MN of Frazee (6’4 forward). Fleisher earned a lot of respect from people this weekend for his efforts. Broden was guarding posts who were 3-4 inches bigger than him and shutting them down. Fleiser played with so much energy and passion it was super fun to watch. Plays with a bulldog mentality and begs to guard the best player on the other team regardless of the spot that guy plays. Had a good tournament attacking the rim and rebounding. Can play both wing spots or the four spot, averaged 18 a game.
Logan Fahje Logan Fahje 6'0" | SF Pelican Rapids | 2021 State MN of Pelican Rapids (6’3 wing). Logan is one of those four kids at Pelican Rapids returning as double figure players. It’s a deep team and Logan was the leading scorer at 16 points a game on a balanced team (six boards and three assists a game). A smart player who makes the right play always. Nothing flashy ever really but makes plays and is hard for the coach to take him off the floor because he is so steady
