Continue ReadingThe Utah Pangos League has been a life saver for a lot of players as they are able to see the floor and compete. When we evaluate scoring we look at the way that they’re scoring because that is a big indicator to their possible scoring potential at the next level.
Cole Jessee (Wasatch Academy) 33 PPG
The current leading scorer in the league is showing off his ability to score from all over the floor. He can play physical or bring the physicality to you. He has the ability to catch and shoot. He also possesses the ability to take a small amount of dribbles to get his shot off and convert. He is that player that can find rebounds and turn them into quick buckets. Great showing thus far for this guard that has been under the radar.
Jaxon Kohler (American Fork)
Jaxon has just changed the game for AF as he will quickly make AF a team to be weary of. The most elite footwork for anyone in the Class of 2022. The 6’7 D1 prospect is one of the most difficult players to defend one on one. Must see player to watch.
Dominic Burns (Judge Memorial) 26 PPG
Great motor as he can really pick up some steam and go cost to cost on a rebound. Has a nice stroke from the outside, He can handle the ball to bring it up himself and take advantage of a break or set things up.
Fousseyni Traore Fousseyni Traore 6'7" | SF Wasatch Academy | 2021 State UT (Wasatch Academy) 23 PPG
This kid is tough. Curious what team will push hard to land him as he is a nice Division 1 talent. He is virtually unstoppable at this level on the block. He rebounds well and runs the floor. Soft big hands and has some nice patience on the blocks waiting for his opening or creating his own. Face-up game is still developing which gives him more growth to achieve.
Collin Chandler Collin Chandler 6'5" | CG Farmington | 2022 State #28 Nation UT (Farmington) 22 PPG
Collin is turning into that player that can play any position out on the perimeter and he will find a way to create for himself. His left hand is improving which means trouble for defenses and defenders. He has a smooth game inside and out. He has an impressive move every time he is on the floor. D1’s have been calling as he is staring to make noise.
Mason Bendinger Mason Bendinger 6'3" | CG Woods Cross | 2023 State UT (Woods Cross) 21 PPG
The surprise of the league. Mason has been on the radar as a glue guy that can find ways to score but he is quickly turning into the guy. The guy that can create for himself and others. It’s impressive to see him make moves and lose his defender enough to create a shot for himself. He is a three-level scorer and will be huge for a rebuilding Woods Cross program.
Jaden Brownell Jaden Brownell 6'8" | SF Alta | 2021 State UT (Alta) 20 PPG
The lanky big fella is another underrated talent that has the skill to reach the LM, D1 school. He can really make some difficult plays look easy. He has good footwork and range. Great all-around game.
