The event also featured a glimpse of some of the young talented players that will be having an impact on high school basketball in the next few years. In this article PH takes a look at some of the top young players participating in the event.
Cole Ellena 6’7 C All Vegas 2024 – Ellena is a raw developing big. At this stage in his career, his best skill is his ability to protect the rim. Ellena also served as a lane clogger and in area rebounder.
Malek Simeus 5’10 PG Las Vegas Heat 2026 (featured image) – Simeus is a young PG with an advanced skill set. He has a nice handle, and an advanced layup package. His best skill right now might be the poise and place that he plays the game with.
Tommy Isbell 5’9 PG All Vegas 2025 – Isbell is a smooth lefty with a crafty handle. He can get to the bucket and has a nice layup package. A tough shifty PG with a little wiggle to his game, Isbell is one of the top PG’s in his class.
Tramaine Anderson 6’4 SF The Program 2025 – Anderson impressed me with his size, length and versatility. It wasn’t always polished but what 8th grader is? He showed a developing handle, and the ability to make plays for others. He looks like a guy with the potential to develop into a prototypical college small forward.
Ryker Mikkelsen 6’2 SG Utah Drive 2025 – Mikkelsen was one of the high ceiling young players at the event. One of the not great at any, good at every type of player. He can knock down open shots, and has a surprisingly quick first step that lets him get into the lane off the dribble.
