Jackson Williams Jackson Williams 6'2" | SF Faith Lutheran | 2021 State NV 6’2 SF Team Rougue 2021 – If you follow Prep Hoops you know Williams is one of my top 2021 sleepers. He didn’t disappoint on Sunday. Swiss Army Knife player, he defended, rebounded and scored the basketball off drives and open 3’s.
Evan Tatum 6’3 SF CM Bulls 2023 (featured image) – Tatum imposed his will all game. He used his long arms to gobble up rebounds and finish around the rim. Quick 2nd jumper with good hands and around the rim finishing ability.
Miles Williams 6’2 SG Team Rougue 2021 – Williams played well. He handled the ball, and did a good job of making plays for teammates. His best skill was his ability to make plays downhill in transition for himself and teammates.
Adonis Lafleur 6’2 SF Chosen Few 2024 – Lafleur will begin his high school career in Connecticut. I’m disappointed because he’s been one of my favorite players to watch over the last few year. A winner, Lafleur is willing to do whatever his team needs to get the W. On Sunday, that included rebounding along with tough inside buckets. A pure rim runner Lafleur helped his Chosen Few squad take home the title.
Issiah Duve 6’1 PG Galena 2021 (#35PHN 2021) – A sleeper emerged from this event. Duve has an explosive first step, and high level around the rim finishing ability. He’s a unique combo guard who gets paint touches, has a nasty float game and buries open jumpers.
Gregory Burrell Gregory Burrell 6'0" | SG Desert Pines | 2024 State NV 6’0 SG CM Bulls 2024 (#11PHN 2024) – Burrell might make my all dark alley team for the next few years. A physical specimen, that plays hard. Burrell competes for everything. He grabbed every rebound in the 2nd half, and imposed his will throughout the Championship contest. He has a nice mid range jumper and a good first step, but his number 1 skill was his unstoppable motor.
