July Stock Risers!!!
July is always an important time for prospects to get their names out some more and potentially raise their stock for college coaches and media. Although Colleges have not been allowed to physically be in the building, they have been able to tune in to online broadcast which has led to some prospects receiving offers.
Team Hickory 2021 Guard Javian Cannady Javian Cannady 6'3" | PG Concord First Assembly | 2021 State NC : He hasn’t picked up any offers as of yet but the interest is definitely growing with schools at the D1 & D2 levels watching closely. He put on a scoring exhibition during the Big Shots Rock Hill event and continued the following week in the “On The Radar Hoops” event.
Juice All-Stars 2021 Wing Saiquone Harris Saiquone Harris 6'6" | CG Garner | 2020 State NC : He hasn’t picked up any new offers but the amount of interest that colleges are showing at this point should lead to offers sooner than later. At 6’7/6’8 with some Guard skills, he’s proven himself in the month of July as a legitimate D1 prospect.
NC Elite 2022 Forward DeAnte Green DeAnte Green 6'10" | PF Asheville Christian | 2022 State #68 Nation NC : He was already a player that had D1 interest and offers but his play over the month of July has taken his stock to a new level. Blue blood programs such as Kansas have extended offers and he’s working his way up the national level rankings.
Team Curry 2021 Guard Jamarii Thomas Jamarii Thomas 6'1" | PG The Burlington School | 2021 State NC : After receiving some offers late last year from schools at the D2 level, he’s only continued to elevate his stock with some impressive performances this month. His matchup with an ACC commit PG recently opened the eyes of MM D1 programs, he is truly showing that he can perform against the best of the best.
Team Curry 2021 Jonas Aidoo Jonas Aidoo 7'0" | C Liberty Heights | 2021 State #89 Nation NC : He has probably been the player that has benefited the most over this past month with just about every conference in the country showing interest in him and extending offers. His game has continued to flourish and he is showing an outstanding skillset for a player who is 7 feet tall.
Big Shots 2021 Guard Jalen Leftwich: It’s easy to become a fan of his game pretty quickly. He’s a young man that makes the correct reads the majority of the time but also has a bit of flair in his game that makes him fun to watch. D1 programs at the MM level have noticed and are showing interest in the 6’4 Combo Guard.
