- Nick Mikash Nick Mikash 6'4" | SF Kankakee Valley | 2022 State IN – Kankakee Valley – Indiana Game Select 16U
Mikash is a taller forward who showed off his improved post moves and inside presence throughout the weekend. He had multiple buckets from the position with a mix of drop-steps, spin moves, and hooks. He also has enough agility that he showed he is more than a simple post player. He had a couple of nice slashes in the lane and always had a knack for being in the right place on the floor. On the glass, he was incredibly aggressive and led a couple of breaks off of the defensive glass.
- Jalen Bullock Jalen Bullock 6'7" | PF Calumet New Tech | 2022 State IN – Calumet – Indiana Game Select 16U
Bullock is a big post player with a ton of strength and a very diverse set of skills. He definitely could improve multiple areas, but his length and mobility give him a big advantage is multiple areas of the game. He was very strong with his right hand including a couple of finishes through traffic and contact. His outside shot has been rough at times, but he had a good looking stroke this weekend and hit a couple of good shots. He is definitely more of a post player, but if he can be a little more efficient with his outside shot, it will make him a more efficient player.
- Ryan Conwell Ryan Conwell 6'2" | SG Pike | 2022 State #155 Nation IN – Indianapolis Pike – EG10 16U
Conwell is a nifty southpaw who put his creativity on full display this past weekend. He had a quick first step to allow him to get to the rim consistently, and he also showed off his court vision by hitting the driving and dishing multiple times throughout the game. The release on his jumper is a little low, but he was hitting the shot pretty consistently throughout the weekend, so I wouldn’t think that there would be much of a concern on that for the future. He was no doubt one of the top players for EG10 16U this weekend.
- Matt Zdanowicz – Crown Point – Indiana Game Premier 16U
Zdanowicz is a smaller forward who has learned to use his strength to help him out. He had a couple of really strong takes to the hole, and he had a couple of nice finishes inside. He attacked the glass on the offensive end with a couple of boards and putbacks. He also stopped and couple of fast breaks with hustle back on defensive, and he pulled down some defensive rebounds and got out and ran on the break.
- Tendo Mubuuke – Indianapolis Herron – E3 16U
Mubuuke is a tall, lanky forward with lots of muscle and lots of aggressiveness in his game. He was a monster on the offensive glass for E3, and he had a couple of boards and putbacks. Offensively, he had a couple of drives from the free-throw line in which he made post moves to score.
- Antonio Lisenbee – Avon – EG10 16U
Lisenbee used his size to dominate this weekend. Whether he was blocking shots or grabbing every rebound, he was a menace on the defensive end. On the offensive side, he showed his diversity of attack with a couple of pull-up jumpers, a pump-fake and drive to the rim and some moves in the post.
- Trey Steinhilber – Boone Grove – Indiana Game Premier 16U
Steinhilber was the best player this weekend for Indiana Game Premier in my opinion. He provided a spark of energy whenever it was needed for his team, and his active hands on defense always made the opponent uncomfortable. He is on the smaller side, but that did not stop him from getting to the rim and finishing over the taller players. He also knocked down quite a few shots from distance. He did everything he needed to in all aspects of the game this weekend, and he will be a player we need to watch in the future.
- Darius Thomas – Jennings County – E3 16U
Thomas is a point guard with really good size and the ability to know how to use it. He had a couple of really good drives to the rim, and his handling ability allows him to create extremely well. He knocked down a couple of jumpers for E3, and he was one of the lone bright spots on the offensive end this weekend.
