- Eric Price – Gary 21st Century – Indiana Game Select 16U
Price has a very good weekend to help raise his stock. He is a bigger player down low, but he can use his height and strength to make up for his lack of mobility. His shot was a little off for the majority of the weekend, but his form looked really good. He just seemed to be out of rhythm at times. Inside, he showed off some good post moves, and he had good touch around the rim. He also crashed the offensive glass hard and got a couple of rebounds and putbacks. He was the post presence that Indiana Game Select needed this weekend, and he definitely helped himself out quite a bit.
- Christian Nunn Christian Nunn 6'3" | SF L'anse Creuse North | 2022 State IN – Liberty Christian – EG10 16U
Nunn has good size and he bulked up during the time off, so he was able to use that to help him out in a big way. He was a much better finisher inside than the last time we saw, and he never hesitated to take the ball to the rack. His shot looked really good, but that is to be expected as he has always shot the ball well. He has textbook form and a high release, and his newfound confidence driving the ball just gave him more open looks than ever. He was one of the top players for EG10 this weekend.
- Bryce Williams Bryce Williams 6'1" | PG Fishers | 2022 State IN – Fishers – Men Of The Family 17U
Williams has been playing up this year, and I think he has made a big jump as a result. He was on-ball for the majority of the game, and he just made plays. He wasn’t necessarily a top-level scorer, but he did show a couple of pull-up jumpers and a nifty little reverse layup inside. He also racked up more than 5 assists in every game and set up his teammates constantly. On the defensive end, he used his quickness and fast hands to come up with steal after steal and just disrupt the defense. He had the type of weekend that could go under the radar as he basically just did everything well besides scoring the ball, but his teammates did enough in that area that it wasn’t a worry in the slightest.
- J.J. Louden – Indianapolis Pike – EG10 16U
Louden took this weekend off with the Indy Heat to play with EG10 and he had another outstanding weekend. He already holding D1 offers and he showed us why. He has great size and great handles which makes for a lethal combination. He played on-ball a lot more than we had seen, but it worked for him as he was able to take the ball to the rack and finish over the smaller defenders. His shooting stroke is one of the purest that I have seen, and he just seems to make everything look easy. I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see him continuing to get offers at the next level.
- Layden Adair – Scecina Memorial – INB Elite 16U
Adair didn’t start the game with anything special on the offensive end, but he really turned out an outstanding performance. He ended with over 15 points, and he showed that he can drive hard to the rim and finish through contact. He filled the lane well on fast breaks, got out and ran on fast breaks, and he seemed to beat almost everyone down the court every time.
- Darren Roach – Valparaiso – Indiana Game Premier 16U
Roach showed off his incredible length and strength with a great weekend of basketball. On the offensive end, he was lights out from the outside. He also kept a couple of possessions alive with offensive rebounds by just out hustling everyone else on the court. He was not going to be outworked by anybody. He attacked the rim strong, shot the ball well, played good defense, and hustled, so I would say he had the best, most fundamental weekend of anybody that I saw. He just had a knack for doing the right thing.
- Jackson Ullom Jackson Ullom 5'11" | PG Monroe Central | 2022 State IN – Monroe Central – Team Future 16U
Ullom had one of the best weekends that I have seen of him. He is a smaller guard, but he knows how to use his quickness to help him out. He has great court vision and was very unselfish on the court. He had a great looking shot from the outside and was lights out from the three-point line on the catch and shoot which allowed him to give Team Future another scoring option for the weekend.
- Carter St. John Carter St. John 5'10" | PG Bishop Chatard | 2022 IN – Bishop Chatard – Team Future 16U
St. John has a great weekend as he led Team Future in almost all aspects of the game. He was able to get to the rim consistently with his quick first step, and he used his strength to finish through contact. He had great court vision, and he almost always found the open man rather than forcing anything inside the paint. He was also very scrappy on the defensive end of the floor and used his active hands to get steals all weekend.
