Bryce Shoto Bryce Shoto 5'6" | PG Plainfield Central | 2023 State IL (Plainfield Central)
This 5’6” point guard is definitely small, but he is so much fun to watch! Has major game! Speed in the open floor weaving in and out of defenses with ease. He loves scoop shots along with runners in the lane and isn’t afraid to go in among the trees. Streaky shooter with a long push release, but he can definitely drill deep triples as we saw him knock down multiple from beyond the arc. Passes it with flair and directs his team.
Bryant Green (Tinley Park)
Green is a 6’3” shooting guard from Tinley Park that should work in nicely with their young core. Strong bodied wing that has tunnel vision as a scorer liking to go one on one when the ball is in his hands. Flashed as a scorer including hitting a three. Has some intriguing physical tools to work with.
Jeremiah Akin Jeremiah Akin 6'3" | SG Oswego | 2023 IL (Oswego Eat)
Akin stands at 6’2” and this wing runs the floor well in transition, can put it on the deck from the mid-post area, and hit the glass well for his size.
Kai Kilgast (Immaculate Conception)
This 6’1” two guard was a crafty scorer getting buckets on layups off out of bounds plays, put backs, and slippery drives through traffic including finishing with scoop shots. Active player flying in for rebounds from his guard spot.
Allen Tate Allen Tate 6'5" | PF Downers Grove North | 2024 IL (Downers Grove North)
Physically this might be the most intriguing long term kid on this squad. The 2024 prospect was playing up a grade level. He has long arms and a broad frame to add strength. Totally looks the part already at 6’4” and growing. Finished a dump off pass. Looked a bit lost at times and is raw, but man can we see this kid becoming a prospect to watch down the line. Athleticism, fluid, and physically can mature over the next four years at DGN.
