Teams to watch:
- Wisconsin Playground Club 17U
If you a looking for big names, then this is the squad that you are going to want to watch. Five prospects ranked inside the top 20 will be playing with WPC this weekend.
- ABC Young Lions Black 17U
Last summer, the ABC Young Lions were two wins away from being crowned as the best 16U team on the Prep Hoops Circuit. This summer, many of the same prospects that guided last year’s run will return with the intention of making a statement.
- Wisconsin Independent 17U
I think that this team could end up surprising a lot of people this weekend. Featuring prospects like Brian Parzych Brian Parzych 6'2" | PG Wauwautosa East | 2021 State WI , Tanner Resch Tanner Resch 6'0" | PG Hamilton | 2021 State WI , and Colin Schaefer Colin Schaefer 6'0" | PG Olympus Prep | 2021 NJ , Independent is going to be a very tough team to takedown.
- Wisconsin Playground Club 16U
Last summer, Wisconsin Playground Club’s 15U squads dominated the Prep Hoops Circuit. Jeffery Brazziel Jeffery Brazziel 6'4" | SF Martin Luther | 2022 #159 Nation AZ , Luke Haertle Luke Haertle 6'2" | SG Lake Country Lutheran | 2022 State WI , Casey Verhagen Casey Verhagen 6'0" | PG Sheboygan Area Lutheran | 2022 State WI , and more star prospects will all suit up for WPC’s 16U team in the #HardWorkSZN Kickoff.
- Wisconsin Crusaders 16U
Wisconsin Crusaders’ 16U squad features some of the top talent in the Fox Valley area. Tyler Borowski Tyler Borowski 6'2" | PG Appleton East | 2022 State WI , Carter Thomas Carter Thomas 6'5" | PF Neenah | 2022 State WI , and Zach Steigenberger Zach Steigenberger 6'0" | CG Appleton East | 2022 State WI will all team up this weekend in Appleton.
Prospects to watch:
- James Graham James Graham 6'9" | SF Nicolet | 2021 #59 Nation WI — SF — Wisconsin Playground Club 17U
Graham is a prospect that hasn’t been hurt by the lack of an AAU season. Since the end of his junior season at Nicolet, the small forward has pulled in scholarship offers from Michigan State, Georgia, Marquette, Virginia Tech, and Florida State. If he plays well in the upcoming tournaments, Graham will continue to see his stock go through the roof.
- Tre Valeriano Tre Valeriano 6'0" | PG Pius XI | 2021 State WI — PG — ABC Young Lions Black 17U
Currently ranked as the 102nd best prospect in the 2021 class, Valeriano is driven to prove the doubters wrong and boost his stock. The Milwaukee Washington point guard is a great playmaker who recently earned a scholarship offer from Clevland State. Valeriano is a player that is ready to blow up this summer.
- Jack Rose Jack Rose 6'5" | SG Westosha Central | 2022 State #213 Nation WI — SG — Wisconsin Playground Club 16U
Rose made a name for himself on the Prep Hoops Circuit last summer. Now, he will return as one of the biggest names in Wisconsin’s 2022 class. Coming off a great sophomore season at Westosha Central, the shooting guard will look to continue his success in the summer.
- Kenny Garth Kenny Garth 6'2" | CG Westosha Central | 2022 State WI — CG — World Hoops Elite 16U
Garth is a prospect that college coaches should definitely watch this summer. The combo guard has a great pull up jumper, above-average passing skills, and multiple impressive defensive tools. Garth is a prospect that could definitely earn a lot of college interest this AAU season.
- Nathan Gapinski Nathan Gapinski 6'6" | PF Watertown | 2022 State WI — PF — Wisconsin Crusaders 16U
College coaches are going to want to track the progress of Gapinski this summer. The 6-foot-6 power forward plays with high energy and is a very good defender. At the conclusion of the 2020 AAU season, Gapinski will definitely be on the radar of multiple Division 2 programs.
