#HardWorkSZN Kickoff: Sharks Basketball Academy Blue 17U Film Room

<p>The action might be over in Appleton, Wisconsin from PrepHoops first event of the season, but that doesn’t mean the evaluating is!  In our Film Room Series we examine prospects from specific teams out of the state of Illinois by watching game tape from the event.  Today is our <strong>#HardWorkSZN Kickoff: Sharks Basketball Academy Blue 17U Film Room</strong>!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="921025" first="Jackson" last="Gitterle"] (St.Patrick – 2021)</strong></p> <p>This 6’1” shooting guard brings toughness to the table.  Quality defender on the perimeter that moves his feet well.  Offensively he is most adept as a shooter off the catch.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="821843" first="Connor" last="Benson"] (St. Viator – 2021)</strong></p> <p>Benson stands at 6’3” and plays more of a small forward role for this team.  Versatile player that can hit an open shot from three and got fouled on a drive to the hoop.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="921067" first="Sean" last="Gallery"] (Maine South – 2021)</strong></p> <p>At 6’2” the Maine South shooting guard was one of the primary scorers for the Sharks.  He displayed his ability to play on and off the ball.  Crisp passer.  Put his head down for a couple scores, but more often got fouled.  Hit one three.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="921010" first="Josh" last="Harris"] (Timothy Christian – 2021)</strong></p> <p>Harris has been a prospect we have been tracking for a while.  The 6’3” lefty is a bit of a streaky shooter from deep, but he drilled the biggest one of the game making the game winner from the corner with his team down and only 1.9 seconds on the clock.  Mixed in a few drives showing athleticism finishing around the cup.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="821824" first="Caleb" last="Corro"] (St. Patrick – 2021)</strong></p> <p>Corro is a high IQ floor general that knows how to run the show.  Gets others involved with his crisp passing and pushes in the open floor off a miss or make.  Capable three point shooter when left open as he drilled one in transition early.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Marko Anderson (Maine South – 2021)</strong></p> <p>The 6’6” power forward continues to impress.  He is a very good rebounder in his area high pointing boards in traffic and proved to be a solid post defender protecting the paint.  Decent athlete.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Michael Hamilton (St. Patrick – 2021)</strong></p> <p>Hamilton is another 6’6” post for small colleges to track.  He has some bounce around the hoop along with nice length.  Gets to the free throw line and can slash from the mid-post area.</p>
