Kenny Garth Kenny Garth 6'2" | CG Westosha Central | 2022 State WI — CG — World Hoop Elite 16U
Garth impressed in all aspects of the game on Saturday afternoon. The 2022 Westosha Central combo guard dished out flashy passes, displayed his scoring ability, and was able to lead his team to a comfortable win. Garth’s skillset definitely translates to the next level. College coaches are going to want to track the progress of this CG.
Gus Yalden — PF — Wisconsin Playground Club 15U
Yalden was feasting around the basket in WPC 15U’s first win of the day. The 6-foot-10 power forward was able to get rebounds in the paint and then immediately put the shot back up. He also briefly flashed his soft shooting touch and dribbling skills. Yalden already holds multiple Division One scholarship offers, and if he keeps playing at a high level, he could see more come his way.
Tashawn Bridges — G — Wisconsin Playground UA Future
I wasn’t planning on watching Bridges play yesterday. But when you see any prospect attempting ridiculous dunks, it is hard not to take a quick peek. I only watched Bridges play for about 20 minutes, but that was more than enough. The 2024 guard really impressed me with his skill and athleticism. The soon to be Brookfield East freshman already holds a D1 offer from Grambling State.
Kamari Mcgee Kamari Mcgee 6'0" | PG Racine St. Catherine's | 2021 State WI — PG — Wisconsin Playground Club 17U
Playing on a team loaded with highly ranked prospects, McGee knows that he won’t be the star for the WPC 17U. But that’s okay. For WPC, The Racine St. Catherine’s point guard serves as an outstanding glue guy. The point guard plays terrific defense while running his squad’s offense. McGee’s toughness and willingness to play hard is what will make him a great player in college.
Antuan Nesbitt Antuan Nesbitt 6'4" | SF Racine | 2021 State WI — G/W — Wisconsin Sharks 17U
College programs should get on Nesbitt as soon as possible. The 6-foot-3 rising senior checks all the boxes. He has length, athleticism, and the ability to score at all three levels. I really liked how versatile the guard was able to be this weekend. It didn’t matter what the opposing team attempted to do, Nesbitt was in complete control of the game.
Victor Desmond Victor Desmond 6'6" | SF Onalaska | 2021 State WI — F — Wisconsin Playground Club 17U
Much like McGee, Desmond doesn’t need to score the ball to to help his team win. The athletic 6-foot-6 forward brings unmatched energy and raw athleticism to the table. In both of his games on Saturday, the forward gave Wisconsin Playground Club a huge boost. It shouldn’t be too long before Desmond earns his first scholarship offer.
Demerius Shakur Demerius Shakur 6'2" | CG Martin Luther | 2023 State WI — PG — Wisconsin Playground Club 15U
Shakur was ultra-aggressive in both of his games on Saturday. The 6-foot-3 point guard drove the ball to the hoop at every opportunity. His game is a bit raw and it could definitely be perfected, but I still liked what I saw from Shakur. In the coming tournaments, he figures to be a key piece for WPC 15U.
