In our Film Room Series we examine prospects from specific teams out of the state of Illinois by watching game tape from the event. Today is our #HardWorkSZN Kickoff: Archangels 16U Film Room!
Ben Anderson (Monmouth Roseville – 2022)
Anderson stands at 6’7” with a big frame. The center takes up space on the interior on both ends of the floor. He was very effective as a high/low passer making quality post feeds on multiple occasions. Plays physical on the interior. Quality area rebounder. Ran the floor for one bucket.
Alexavier Egipciaco (Galesburg – 2022)
The Galesburg 6’1” shooting guard brought a lot of offense to the table for the Archangels . Thick bodied two guard that can really let it fly from three. Hit three of them in the game we saw with sound mechanics. More than just a three point shooter though as he mixed it up inside for a few scores and got out in transition. One play that was very impressive was when he swatted a shot on the perimeter and went end to end for a layup.
Jeremiah Babers (Galesburg – 2022)
This 6’1” point guard has some good length and was very aggressive as a defender. Offensively he pushed the rock and got others involved by dishing when in the lane.
Eli Hofmann (Sherrard – 2022)
Hofmann is a spunky guard that got after it defensively turning several of his steals into buckets on the other end. Creative handles and likes to use jump stops/scoop shots inside.
Koen Day (Galesburg – 2022)
Day stands at 6’6” and this power forward did a nice job of sealing his man off on the block for scores several times. Solid athlete.
Turner Plumer (Canton – 2022)
Plumer is a plus athlete at 6’5” that showed his bounce around the hoop on multiple occasions including throwing down an alley-oop. Long forward is quick to the offensive glass and makes assertive moves in the paint. Has some upside.
Haden Case (Macob – 2022)
The Macomb rising junior scored in several different ways including a three off the catch, high/low score in the post, and driving for a runner. Watch out for the 6’4” combo forward!
