George Bellevue (Illinois T-Wolves)
Bellevue made a name for himself in Wisconsin several weeks back and we continue to really like where his game is going. The 6’6” four man is explosive in the paint. So quick with everything he does on the interior. Looked fluid on a pick/roll play early in their first game. Made a couple nice dishes inside. When the ball is in his hands he was smooth on the block with the moves he made for scores. Elite second jump on the offensive glass. Defensively he is a major shot blocking presence and alters others.
Ahmad Henderson (Illinois Hoopstars)
The Brother Rice point guard played both on the 15U and 16U levels during the weekend. He wasn’t fazed by either of them. Capable shooter off the catch, can really push it in the open floor going coast to coast, and has nice body control at the hoop. Plays with a lot of poise. Gets after it on the defensive end as well.
Aaron Miramontes (Illinois Outwork)
Like many on Illinois Outwork this 6’4” post comes from Morton. He is a wide bodied and undersized five man that did work inside! Scored on an array of post scores getting deep position on the block. Efficient with his touches. Really good area rebounder that snatched them at a high rate.
Jeremy Fears Jeremy Fears 6'1" | PG La Lumiere | 2023 GA (Team RWA)
Fears had a lot of helium coming into the summer as he has picked up eight high-major offers already. The high IQ guard plays well beyond his years. He is a tremendous passer at times threading the needle through the defense. As a scorer he has the quickness and crisp ball handling to get to the cup when he wants and has a sound pull up shot from both mid-range and three. Pushes with speed in the open floor always having his head up to make a play for others or find where he is going to slither through the defense. Simply one of the best 2023s in the state.
