Jack Vegter (Team RWA)
Vegter is a 6’4” shooting guard that plays for a Lincoln Way East team that should be pretty good next year. His strength is how he shoots it from three. Vegter is a sound shooter mechanically from beyond the arc and can hit shots off movement. Did a nice job of transferring from catch to shot coming off curls.
Fawaz Sukurat (Illinois Hoopstars)
The Sullivan big man continues to show us he can be a big man in 2022 with scholarship upside. At 6’8” with plus athleticism he is an impact player on the defensive end of the floor. Swatted and altered quite a few shots during the game we saw. Offensively he is still a bit raw, but a lot to work with.
Isaac Demosthenes (Illinois Hoopstars)
The Normal 5’10” point guard got loose in transition where he showed accelerating speed. Nice looking scoop shot and rebounds well for a guard. Prospect to track in central Illinois!
Alexandre Egipciago ( Archangels )
This 6’1” Galesburg guard had a strong outing on Saturday against RWA. The point guard has a stocky build and is crafty around the basket. Did a nice job of finishing around the cup including reverse layups.
Eli Hofmann ( Archangels )
Hofmann was the standout for the Archangels during their Sunday morning contest. He is a 5’10” point guard from Sherrard. The combo guard regularly got in the lane where he converted and-1s. Got loose a couple times in the open floor. Jump shot wasn’t falling, but he has sound mechanics.
Koen Derry ( Archangels )
Another Galesburg product that made a name was Derry. At 6’6” he has positional size being an inside/outside threat. Finished dump off passes inside, rebounded well in traffic, and put it on the deck a few times where he was fouled.
Mikey Brown (The Work Foundation)
Brown is expected to make an impact at Bloom this season. The 5’10” point guard is a stocky built guard that can really shoot it from mid-range. Excellent pull up game. His compact strength allows him to take a bump at the cup.
