Zaide Lowery 6’3″ Missouri Flight 16U: An explosive young wing from Kickapoo who provided plenty of excitement for his team by catching several alley-oop dunks. There is much more to his game as he attacked the basket well and knocked down a few 3-pointers over a zone defense. An excellent young talent with a big upside.
Brady Bowers 6’0″ Missouri Elite: A talented combo guard from Rock Bridge who enjoyed some high scoring games over the weekend, including a 33-point outburst. He is an excellent 3-point shooter with good handles and a high basketball IQ. He also had some nice takes to the basket.
Ben Linnemeyer 6’4″ Missouri Elite: A versatile young wing from Rock Bridge who has the size and skill level to get buckets in the lane off of post ups and cuts to the basket. He is also a very mobile perimeter player with a nice stroke from 3-point range.
Dante Washington 6’0″ ShoMe Assault: An athletic guard from Joplin who was always looking to push the pace and he makes good decisions while doing it. He is a very good passer in the transition game and he can also finish on the back end with layups and 3-pointers on the move.
Sincere Austin 6’0″ KC United: This young point guard is from the Kansas side, but I wanted to recognize him here because I was impressed with his talent and high basketball IQ. He did a good job controlling the flow of his team and when to attack and when to set things up. Also, his last name is the same as mine. (No relation)
Alhante Askew 6’0″ Sho-Me Assault: A quick ball-hawking point guard who was able to create steals with his length and anticipation. He plays with a lot of pace and distributes the basketball well while being able to shoot the basketball from 3-point range. Attends Republic.
Wil Carlton 5’11” ShoMe Assault: A solid combo guard from Marionville who did a nice job shooting the basketball from 3-point range. He also had some nice takes to the basket from the wing.
