Keith Driver 5’10″ Missouri Elite 17U: A dynamic 2021 combo guard from Jefferson City who made things happen at both ends of the court. He got into the lane and scored among the trees while also being able to knock down open 3-pointers. He had several nice penetration and kick-outs to open teammates while also being able to being a pest on defense with his speed and quick hands.
Karter Koenig 6’6″ Missouri Mavericks 17U: A robust 2021 lefty post player from Westran who was tough to move around when he established his plot of real estate in the lane. He has good footwork and nice drop step in the lane as he finished at a very high rate. There’s nothing fancy about his game, but it is very effective and efficient.
Matt Thompson 6’2″ Missouri Flight 17U: The 2021 shooting guard from Smith-Cotton was one of the top perimeter scoring threats that I watched during the weekend. His smooth stroke extends well beyond the 3-point line and he does a nice job of moving without the ball and doing his work before it is time to shoot. He also has solid handles and can create a shot off the dribble when he needs to.
Isaiah Smith 5’9″ Missouri Flight 17U: A tough lefty 2021 point guard from Crane who was fearless with his ability to attack the basket in the land of the trees. He has a very effective floater in the lane. His court vision is very good and he has a very nice stroke from 3-point distance.
Max Higginbotham 6’2″ Victory Ministry 16U: A very steady 2022 wing from Webb City who displayed a very nice feel for the game. He has the ball in his hands much of the time and he made good decisions as a passer and playmaker. His 3-point shooting was also on point.
Donovan Tullock 6’0″ 34Hoops 17U: An athletic 2021 combo guard from Crystal City who did an excellent job on the defensive end. He kept people in front of him and even blocked jump shots with his ability to get off the floor quickly. On offense, he was most effective as a slasher who can score on twisting drives in the lane.
