This was a great contest! It was a tight game throughout with both teams playing quite well especially offensively. In the end RSE Elite took home the win 65-60. They had quality guard play at the point of attack. It all started with Jaden Harrell. The smaller point guard pushed the pace consistently, got to the rim, and uses his speed. Capable three point shooter as well. A couple other guards that left an impression were Zander Baker Bluitt and Curtis Rose. Bluitt is a creative passer that has a burst with the ball in his hands. Also liked what Elijah Banks did on the wing. The bouncy two guard finished above the rim and got to the line at a pretty good clip.
The SA Legends squad had a quality group of wings and forwards. Treylin Payne was very good especially in the second half down the stretch converting some big buckets. The lefty shooting guard has good strength and makes plays in the lane with his power along with athleticism. Several quick spins and bank shots in the paint. Also took it coast to coast. Hit a three earlier in the game. Calig Porter is another physically built forward that gets the job done around the hoop. Can put it on the deck from the high-post and drilled a smooth one dribble pull up. Eric Brown is an athletic two guard that plays with a motor. Can play some on the ball as well. Justin Bussey is a sound perimeter shooter knocking down a couple threes along with working in the mid-range.
