One Player To Watch: Jalen Jackson Jalen Jackson 6'2" | PG Fort Wayne Northrop | 2022 State IN
Jalen Jackson Jalen Jackson 6'2" | PG Fort Wayne Northrop | 2022 State IN is a tough guard with good size and strength, and he grew a couple more inches and put on quite a bit of muscle during the time off for the pandemic. He uses ball screens really well, and he has a fairly consistent jumper. The release is a little slow right now, but that is something that he will be able to work on without affecting his jumper all that much. He has a solid balance in his offensive game right now, and I believe he is in line to have a very good summer season.
One Player We Need To See More: Owen Shively Owen Shively 6'4" | SF Bishop Dwenger | 2022 State IN
Owen Shively Owen Shively 6'4" | SF Bishop Dwenger | 2022 State IN is a big wing who has continued to develop his strength and skill over the last year. He is a solid shooter, and he can also use his big frame to matchup well with both bigs and wings on both ends of the floor. He has a knack for knowing where the ball is going to fall when rebounding, and he can get out and run off of long misses. He can still improve his skills, but he has quite a bit of upside in his game at this moment.
One Player That Should Surprise: Joe Reidy Joe Reidy 6'7" | SF Woodlan | 2022 State IN
Joe Reidy Joe Reidy 6'7" | SF Woodlan | 2022 State IN has put on a bunch of strength during the time off for the pandemic. He uses his length to his advantage really well on both ends of the floor. He is still growing both physically and mentally on the floor. He has struggled to play in the post, so I wouldn’t expect him to be in that role. He is much better when playing in transition or on the wing. With his newfound strength and his length, he is going to surprise people both with how different he looks and how different his game is versus a season ago.
