Austin Vick Austin Vick 6'8" | PF Westminster | 2022 State MO 6’8″ Gateway-Knights 16U: A big-bodied 2022 post player from Westminster who came up with a big 17-point performance in a victory in bracket play. He has good hands and a good skill set in the low post and a nice shooting touch. He also came through with back to back clutch 3-pointers in the balance of the game.
Syncere Shaw 6’6″ SW IL Jets Orange 16U: A tall and rangy 2022 wing forward from DuBourg who is very skilled and has a very big upside. He handles the ball well and attacks the rim, which he showed on a big tomahawk dunk. His has a fine jumper and he is an excellent rebounder. He helped the Jets to the 16U championship with his overall play.
Tevin Gowins Tevin Gowins 5'9" | PG Hazelwood Central | 2022 State MO 5’7″ SW IL Jets Orange 16U: A pass first point guard from Hazelwood Central who plays the role of facilitator and tone setter on defense very well. He came through with some big 3-point shooting in the championship game to help the Jets to the tournament title. He’s quick and very unselfish and he plays the game to serve his teammates.
Justin Duff 6’3″ Gateway 15U: Talented young wing player from DeSmet with an excellent stroke from 3-point territory. He scored 14 points in the championship game as he helped Gateway to a title game win. When he wasn’t knocking down 3-pointers, he was also getting buckets on some excellent takes to the basket.
Trey Stanback 5’10″ Semo Bulls 15U: A quick, penetrating point guard from Charleston who led the Bulls to the championship game. He was a tough cover with his ability to get by defenders on smooth drives to the basket to go along with 3-point shooting from the wing. He was also quite the pest on defense.
Jack Steinbach 5’11″ Gateway 15U: A tough, young point guard from Ladue who scored a team-high 16 points in the championship game as his team won a tournament title for the second week in succession. He handled the ball against pressure well and can shoot the basketball from distance. He’s fearless and takes on every challenge.
