Join us as we breakdown some game film from events and take a look at some teams and prospects in the state. Today, we are looking at HoopZone Elite 2021 from the Legacy Court Open Run.
Hagen Knepp Hagen Knepp 6'4" | SF Barr-Reeve | 2022 State IN – #2 6’3 SF 2022 – Barr-Reeve (IN)
Knepp is a wing player that can do a ton of things. Penetrates the middle so well and is money on the pull-up jumper. He is really athletic and lean so when he needs to slash and cut through a defense, he is setup for success. Plays so hard and has a great motor. It is scary because he is only going to get even better from here.
Brycen Graber Brycen Graber 6'1" | PG Barr-Reeve | 2021 State IN – #1 6’3 PG 2021 – Barr-Reeve (IN)
Graber is a tall lead guard with some really solid passing and ball handling ability. Missed a couple threes but does look to have a nice shot/release. Plays pretty under control and never forces anything wild. Solid defender as well. Graber just does a good amount of things well.
Coleman Sater Coleman Sater 6'4" | SF Edgewood | 2021 State IN – #5 6’4 SF 2021 – Edgewood (IN)
Sater is a combo forward that is so tough and physical. Very active all over and has a fantastic motor. Can score all over on offense but looks like he prefers to take it to the rim. You can just tell by watching Sater that he just wants to leave it all on the floor.
Silas Bauer Silas Bauer 6'5" | PF Loogootee | 2021 State IN – #40 6’5 PF 2021 – Loogootee (IN)
Bauer is a tall wing/post with a good mix of inside and out game. Real strong and grabs a ton of rebounds. He is athletic enough to play on guards and wings. Real good shooting off the catch. Very tough prospect that can provide a team a ton of different scoring opportunities.
Rhett Thompson – #23 6’5 PF 2021 – Princeton (IN)
Thompson is a strong forward that is solid all around. Provides a good amount of scoring, especially in the post area.Has a real physical playing style on both ends of the court. Probably can switch between a wing and post player. Like the way Thompson plays the game.
Kayden Graber – #3 6’1 PG 2022 – Barr-Reeve (IN)
Graber is taller lead guard with a thin frame. Played mostly off the ball at this event. Pretty quick all-around and that could be a huge asset for him long term. Has a very quick release on his shot. Still a few things to work, like adding some strength, on but he is on track to be very solid by his senior year.
Reece Sherrill – #42 6’5 PF 2021 – Shoals (IN)
Sherrill is a big post player that has a long body frame. Likes to stick and shoot from the outside a lot but he did show he is capable of scoring from there. Provided some good defense down low. Solid at running the floor but may need a bit more speed. Overall, a solid performance from Sherrill at this event.
