Standout Players
2021 PG Eain Mowat Eain Mowat 6'0" | PG Austin Westlake | 2021 State TX (6-0) – Westlake
- Mowat is a floor leader always in control who has deceptively filthy handles. He put up 7 and 9 points in the two matchups, with 3 steals and 2 assists coming in the second game against Next Level Raiders. He does a great job of finding open teammates and creating open shots, while also supporting a lethal three-point shot. Has a strong and built frame for the point guard position.
2021 SG Mike Robertson Jr. (6-3) – Akins
- Robertson enjoyed a monster breakout game against the Next Level Raiders, totaling 23 points with 19 coming in the first half alone. Robertson showed off his range sinking 3 three-pointers and did a great job of finishing strong at the rim. His highly efficient scoring attack in game two was the best scoring performance of the invitational.
2022 SG Connor McManus (6-4) – Westlake
- McManus was all over the court in game two against Next Level Raiders, gobbling up 10 rebounds while adding 7 points. He did a great job of attacking the offensive glass and has the ability to be a potent three-point shooter. A true blue-collar player who can play either wing position.
2022 SF Donovan Santoro (6-7) – Westlake
- Santoro impressed with performances for both THP White and Blue. The tall and thin small forward has a smooth deep-range shot and hit 3 from beyond-the-arc during the invitational. He has handles like a guard but is a tough rebounder in the paint. Santoro has a ton of upside as a scoring wing.
THP White (1-1)
W THP White 63, ASAK Gold 57
L ASAK Elite 57, THP White 45
Standout Players
2021 PG JaVante O’Connor (6-3) – Austin High
- O’Connor has great size for the point guard position and can be a big-time scorer. In game one against ASAK Gold, O’Connor dropped 15 points including a couple of deep-range three-pointers that he swished. Not only can he shoot, but he is also a playmaker who finds creative ways to get passes off to his open teammates.
2022 PG Reese Miller (6-0) – Round Rock
- Miller is a lethal shooter from beyond-the-arc and has the versatility to play either point or shooting guard. He had an impressive 13 point performance in their win against ASAK Gold, showing off his range with multiple three-pointers. He has a quick and accurate trigger, with legit NBA range. In game number two he impressed as a passer, creating 5 assists off of penetration and kick plays.
2021 PF Petia Dogale (6-6) – Austin High
- Dogale might be the breakout player of the invitational with his play in the paint as a rebound and defender. In game one Dogale had 9 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 blocks, and then followed that up with 5 points, 8 rebounds, 2 blocks performance in game two. He did an incredible job as a rim protector, constantly swatting away opponent’s shots with great anticipation. Also did a great job attacking the glass and cleaning up second-chance shots. Showed a little bit of range with a left-elbow jumper.
2021 SG Aidan Bailey (5-11) – Dripping Springs
- Bailey stood out with an impressive game two performance, scoring 8 points and collecting 5 rebounds. An all-out effort guard who is always on the move, Bailey plays with a quick and tenacious style. He also has the ability to light it up from three-point territory as he did with two nice looking shots versus ASAK Elite.
2021 SG Coleton Benson Coleton Benson 6'1" | SG Austin Bowie | 2021 State TX (6-1) – Bowie
- Benson made a surprise appearance for THP White, and he showed in the limited playing time why he is one of the best players in Central Texas for the 2021 class. In game two versus ASAK Elite, Benson quickly scored 10 points, including impressive back-to-back possessions where he pickpocketed the opponent and finished with a layup and pull-up three.
