As we head into the heart of the summer, I thought it would be fun to look into possible breakout candidates for the hopeful HS season in the fall. Either they will see their stock go up or finally get those much deserved offers for the first time.

I have 13 breakout sophomores to comment about. (7 currently ranked and 6 not ranked) 

 

Here are the first eight potential breakout sophomores:

No. 10 Isaac HymesIsaacHymes6'8" | PFMillennium | 2023StateAZ (Hillcrest Prep)

-Hymes future sure looks bright. He has great height and length already and can shoot it from the 3pt line. He also is one of the best shot blockers in the class. 

No. 25 Carter GittensCarterGittens6'4" | SFSunrise Mountain | 2023StateAZ (Sunrise Mountain)

-A super active glass cleaner is disruptive on both ends of the court. He is a capable perimeter shooter but is currently best inside. He can rip through and go to work downhill. 

No. 44 Zach AndersonZachAnderson6'1" | SGDesert Mountain | 2023StateAZ (Desert Mountain)

-The rising soph caught my attention at the Future Elite summer league. He is a good shooter but also a natural scorer and can put the ball on the floor. 

No. 49 Braden TotmanBradenTotman6'5" | SFHorizon | 2023StateAZ (Horizon) 

-A long
