The event was run by OTR Exposure and here are my standouts from the 2022 class pt 2.
Zuby Ejiofor Zuby Ejiofor 6'9" | PF Garland | 2022 State #52 Nation TX 6’8 PF | Garland HS [Garland, TX] 2022
Finishing everything at the rim and above the rim. Cleaning house in the paint rebounding and blocking everything. Runs the floor very well. Sets solid screens and rolls off of screens really well and is strong when he catches the ball.
Jaleen Goodman 5’7” PG | Summer Creek HS [Humble, TX] 2022
Knocking down NBA range trey balls. Plays with one speed but once he starts to play with multiple speeds he will be an even tougher assignment. He is a blur with the ball in his hands though. He has a super quick first step and finishes around the rim.
Kemauri Millender Kemauri Millender 6'0" | PG Clear Brook | 2022 State TX 6’0” PG | Clear Brook HS [League City, TX] 2022
Really separated himself from the rest of the point guards. He got his teammates involved in every single possession. Got downhill attacked the lane and picked up on his opponent 94 feet every time. Tough guard that is an anchor defensively and anything mid-range and at the rim he is money.
Ziyan Ali 6’2” PG | A&M Consolidated HS [College Station, TX] 2022
Plays with multiple speeds on the floor. Has good floor awareness and is driving and finding his shooters. He also had some tough takes to the basket. Has a strong handle on the ball and has quick strong initial moves with the rock in his hands.
Shawn Jones Jr Shawn Jones Jr 6'6" | SF Shadow Creek | 2022 State TX 6’6” SF | Shadow Creek HS [Pearland, TX] 2022
Shawn was one of the best prospects at the camp overall. He came in looking for targets to solidify his spot as the top prospect for 2022 in the Greater Houston Region to go along with his national notoriety. He made getting to the rim a cakewalk at times and showcased his athletic ability. He continues to improve on his outside jumper as well.
Isaiah Barganier Isaiah Barganier 6'7" | SF Fulshear | 2022 State TX 6’6” F | Fulshear HS [Fulshear, TX] 2022
Isaiah has a sturdy build and is bigger than most players on the court. He was most effective in the high post and short corner when he got the ball. He can shoot it from the perimeter as well and gets a lot of mismatches in the game and could truly dominate it by taking the smaller opponents on the block and then go back to his outside game. Once he plays an inside/outside game and makes that his calling card he will be a tougher assignment than he is already.
