Zion Wright Zion Wright 6'5" | SF Saluda | 2023 State SC (2023) – Saluda HS – Carolina Ballin
Wright is the future of Tigers basketball in Saluda now. His older brother Dallan will play football this coming season at Virginia Tech. Wright a left-handed guard has great length for a young age. Wright was able to connect on some mid-range jumpers and rebounded the ball well on both sides of the floor.
Calvin Davinroy Calvin Davinroy 6'3" | SF Oceanside Collegiate | 2023 State SC (2023) – Wando HS (Mount Pleasant) – Lowcountry Storm
Dalvinroy plays the game very smart from the guard position for the Storm. Prep Hoops saw the Storm in Session 1 play. Dalvinroy connected on some mid-range jumpers and was able to show some solid passing.
Jasaan Faulkner Jasaan Faulkner 5'10" | PG St James | 2024 SC (2024) – St James M.S. – Myrtle Beach Blazers
Faulkner a left-handed point guard was extremely vocal on the floor providing leadership for his Blazers team. Faulkner really looks to defend on the ball and isn’t afraid to sacrifice his body on the floor for a loose ball. Faulkner rebounds the ball well from the guard position.
Phillip McLean Phillip McLean 6'4" | C Carolina Forest | 2024 SC (2024) – Myrtle Beach M.S. – Myrtle Beach Blazers
McLean is a space -eater in the paint for Head Coach Alvin Green. McLean 6’3 already has great footwork and size for a young age. McLean played with his back to the basket. I would be quite surprised if I don’t see him on the football field for Head Coach Mickey Wilson in the future.
Devin Grainger Devin Grainger 6'1" | PG Conway | 2024 State SC (2024) – Conway HS – Ascend Ballers (pictured on the front)
Grainger saw some minutes last season for the Tigers in Lower State Championship Game vs Dutch Fork HS. Grainger’s older from Darren is the Quarterback at Furman. Grainger a left-handed guard is a confident player on the floor. Grainger has the all the tools to be a special player down the road for the Tigers. Grainger connected on some perimeter jumpers and at times would slash to the cup.
