Undefeated Teams @ Big Shots Nationals
- Charlotte Hoyas (3-0)
- The Hoyas finished the weekend unbeaten behind big weekends from forwards 6-foot-6 Isaiah Williams Isaiah Williams 6'5" | SF Porter Ridge | 2022 State NC and 6-foot-5 Karon Boyd. Their presence in the paint on both ends was a reason for their success.
- Showtime Hoops Bradley (NC) (3-0)
- Led by 2022 guard Randall Pettus (9 made 3-pointers) and 2021 guard Tray Neely (9 made 3-pointers) who were sharpshooters all weekend long for their squad on their way to three wins.
- Big Shots Elite Tri-Cities (3-0)
- Hamilton Campbell Hamilton Campbell 6'0" | PG Moravian Prep | 2022 NC , Brandon Brown and Kidd Brizek were a few of the standouts that led the way for Big Shots Elite Tri-Cities in the long run. Campbell’s 18 points and Brizek’s 17 points against Team Trezz led the way in a big 72-69 comeback victory in their final game of the weekend.
- Carolina Cavs (SC) (3-0)
- 6-foot-guard Tyrell Greene (2022) and 6-foot-4 guard Kendall Parker (2022) were the prospects that led the way as they went undefeated at Big Shots Nationals; Greene showed off his ability to shoot it on the perimeter while Parker showed off as a their featured slasher
- Twin Hoops Elite (VA) (3-0)
- Twins Mikko & Mikhai Arnold (2022) were a handful on the defensive end while sharpshooters Connor Tilley and J.J. Gulley filled the void on the perimeter with their 3-point shooting; team that set the tone on the defensive end
- Greensboro Warriors (NC) (3-0)
- 2022 guard Frank Stockton, 2022 high-flying guard Jah Siago and 2022 forward Travis Shaw Travis Shaw 6'6" | C Grimsley | 2022 State NC led the way as the Greensboro Warriors went unbeaten against the likes of Big Shots Elite NC, Team Trezz and Big Shots CPA
- Tea Marie Hoops (NC) (2-0)
- 2021 guard Breon Pass Breon Pass 6'1" | PG Reidsville | 2021 State #193 Nation NC led the way for a talented Tea Marie Hoops squad the featured Jai Smith (2022) in the frontcourt, an athletic forward that’s a burden on the boards
Caleb Foster Caleb Foster 6'4" | CG Oak Hill Academy | 2023 #18 Nation VA puts on a show
Caleb Foster Caleb Foster 6'4" | CG Oak Hill Academy | 2023 #18 Nation VA played up in the 16U division at Big Shots Nationals and he showed he could hold his own with Quave Propst-Allison Quave Propst-Allison 6'0" | PG Providence Day | 2022 State NC , another top prospect in the backcourt with him on Team Curry. Foster posted a personal-best 21 points along with four made 3-pointers in a tough 59-58 loss against Big Shots Elite NC. Allison posted 14 points in their opening victory against QCAA and Foster finished with 11 points in that victory.
PSB Elite UA Rise has a talented backcourt
PSB Elite UA Rise 16U squad lost their opening game but they bounced back thanks to the play of Isaiah Tate Isaiah Tate 6'0" | PG Concord Academy | 2023 State NC and Samaad Wright. Tate and Wright proved to be a dangerous combination, after all they combined for 36 points in their opening game. Wright was even more of a factor when he put up 22 points in a backcourt matchup against Jazian Gortman and the Palmetto City Hurricanes. They’re two top guards in the 2022 class to watch in North Carolina.
QCAA Hoops competed against top teams
2022 standout big man Brandon White Brandon White 6'10" | PF Donda Academy | 2023 #146 Nation NC made an appearance with QCAA Hoops and even though they went 1-3, he still made waves alongside Jamori McDougald Jamori McDougald 6'1" | SG Trinity Christian | 2022 State NC . Mcdougald made 10 3-pointers in their backcourt to pace the perimeter scoring while White averaged 15.0 ppg and finished second in the division with 60 points. He led the way with 22 points and three made 3-pointers in their lone victory of the weekend at Big Shots Nationals.
Big Shots Elite NC put on a show
Big Shots Elite NC put on quite the production with a squad featuing Anthony Sellars Anthony Sellars 6'7" | SF Quality Education Academy | 2022 State NC , Corneilous Williams Corneilous Williams 6'10" | C Combine Academy | 2022 State NC , Sasha Letino, Camian Shell Camian Shell 5'10" | PG Winston-Salem Christian | 2022 State NC and Omari Bolden Omari Bolden 6'3" | CG Quality Education | 2022 State NC . Williams posted 20 points along with six made free throws in a big performance against NC Elite 2022 while Sellars was right behind him with 15 points and seven made free throws. Shell handled point guard duties while Bolden did his thing on the wing as an attacker. They’re a group to keep eyes on on the grassroots scene.
