Brandon White Brandon White 6'10" | PF Donda Academy | 2023 #146 Nation NC | 6’10 Forward/Center | 2022 | QCAA Hoops
White is a mobile big man with a developing game still. On the interior, he blocks shots on the defensive end and finishes with authority and nice touch around the rim on offense. He also showed he can knock down shots on the perimeter and in the mid-range. He’s a prospect who makes his presence felt in the paint and then some with room to grow.
Sasha Letino | 6’8 Forward/Wing | 2022 | Big Shots Elite Tri-Cities
Letino is a much more aggressive prospect on the hardwood and has shown he can be the focal point of the offense. He finishes at the rim and does well to manuever around the defense in the paint for points. On defense, he’s learning to play a lot more physical and alter shots. As he continues to improve, he’s a prospect to keep an eye on.
Anthony Sellars Anthony Sellars 6'7" | SF Quality Education Academy | 2022 State NC | 6’8 Forward/Wing | 2022 | Big Shots Elite NC
Sellars showed off his strong frame and added confidence by showing he can do more than score on offense. Alongside Corneilous Williams Corneilous Williams 6'10" | C Combine Academy | 2022 State NC in the frontcourt, he’s a formidable defender that creates havoc in the paint. On offense, he’s a back-to-the-basket threat and an even bigger threat off the block. He put up 13.3 ppg on the weekend and second atop the division in free throws made with 13.
Corneilous Williams Corneilous Williams 6'10" | C Combine Academy | 2022 State NC | 6’8 Forward | 2022 | Big Shots Elite NC
Williams is another prospect with room to grow as a two-way threat. He’s an agile defender that flies around for rebounds and blocks on defense and dunks on the offensive end. He showed off his nice touch around the rim on post ups and showed he’s also a willing screener in the pick-and-roll game. He finished with 15.7 ppg at Big Shots Nationals.
Mikhail Pocknett Mikhail Pocknett 6'6" | PF New Hanover | 2022 State NC | 6’5 Forward/Wing | 2022 | Team Disciples
Pocknett showed off his ability to get going in a hurry and create problems in the foul count for his opponent in their opening win against the Carolina Cavs. He finished with 22 points and five made free throws to pace their 59-51 opening victory and averaged 14.3 ppg in the paint for Team Disciples. He’s another versatile prospect with a high motor to keep an eye on in the 2022 class.
Terrance Kearney | 6’3 Forward | 2023 | Team Trezz
Kearney isn’t one of the primary scorers on Team Trezz ‘s 15U squad but he is one of their primary rebounders. He holds his own in the paint and alters shots with his size and frame. On the offensive glass, if you don’t get a body on him, he’ll make you pay in a hurry. He’s an up-and-comer to know on the grassroots scene in the 2023 class.
