Although we have seen more teams look to go with smaller lineups and play with higher tempo, there is still no substitute for legit size on the court. Let’s take a look at some of the standout big men from Big Shots MB.
Garner Road
2021 F/C Will Felton: One of the best big men throughout the event he showed his ability to battle in the paint, scoring inside as well as pulling down a high amount of rebounds. Scoring wise he has shown that he has a back to the basket game, but he also likes to face up and show his ability to knock down jumpshots.
Tea Marie 2022 Forward Jai Smith: The leading scorer for his team, he dominated the paint with scoring and rebounding throughout. He plays the game with a nice amount of energy and effort, he’s not a player that you will see taking any plays off.

: One thing that you notice about him early on is his legit size , he stands at about 6’9 with some muscle on his frame. Skillset wise he has some talent and upside but will need to develop full confidence in his game as he will be playing in one of the toughest conferences in the state.
Dallas Seawolves 2021 Center Connor Kern: What is there not to like about a player that is over 7 foot that has potential to be a good player. In the games we watched, he had some moments where he showed what he can potentially be. Once he gets his body into top shape, he will be able to run the floor and make a higher amount of impactful plays, overall we like his upside.
