Garner Road 17s will be tough for anybody to beat! Their squad has the perfect blend of talent and high character players that know how to fit into their role on the team. Whether it’s guard play or bigs battling inside the paint, Garner Road is loaded with talent. They will be tested in their matchup today at 1030 as they take on a team that features multiple D1 players of their own.
Flight 22 has shooters! Rising Senior Guards Makoa Suriago and Bennie Brooks Bennie Brooks 6'4" | CG East Carteret | 2021 State NC have been known for their ability to knock down shots and that was on display Thursday. Both players got into a nice rhythm and were able to provide some solid perimeter offensive play.
2025 Eli Ellis continues to prove himself! He’s playing “up” multiple grade levels , only being a 7th grader but competing with Sophomores and Juniors. His talent/potential are truly showing as he’s been able to put together some nice performances already.
Dallas Seawolves have size! Every year they make the trip down to SC on multiple occasions with their team featuring a nice amount of talent and size. This year is no different, they have two of the better bigs that we saw on the day with one being 6’9 Emmanuel Megnalgo who showed his ability to run the floor and make plays.
No Jersey ? No Problem! Tea Marie 16s and 17s are going with the throwback look ,with their teams wearing T-shirts instead of typical jerseys. Obviously it’s worked for them as both of their teams have plenty of talent and have been outstanding throughout! Their 17s have a big time matchup today at 10:30 against a loaded Garner Road squad.
