Guards/Wings
Tony Osburn Tony Osburn 6'2" | CG Mound City | 2022 State MO 6’2″ 810 Varsity (Cherepkai): The Class 1 standout from Mound City was one of the top offensive players during the weekend. He is a legit three-level scoring threat with deep shooting range. He hit 34 points and six 3-pointers in one game and nailed a 30-footer in the closing seconds to send another game into overtime. He also has the ability to create his own shot off the dribble and he threw down a few impressive dunks in transition.
Deuce Roberts 6’6″ Team YOBO: A multi-talented combo-guard from St. Michael the Archangel who can facilitate the offense at the point or slide over to the wing where he can create offensive opportunities. He has good handles and his movements are so fluid that they look effortless. He can slide in and out of tight spaces in the lane for buckets and he has 3-point shooting range to boot. He led Team YOBO to the 16U championship. Division I programs should definitely have this kid on their radar.
Always Wright Always Wright 6'2" | SG Joplin | 2022 State MO 6’2″ SSA Black: Talented shooting guard from Joplin who played a lot of 17U ball during the weekend. He is an excellent 3-point shooter with nice form and a quick release. He is a smooth ball handler who is always under control.
Sammie Hill 5’9″ 810 Varsity (Cherepkai): A quick point guard from Park Hill who plays the game with pace while making good decisions with the basketball. He can get into the lane very well and drop dimes with his excellent court vision. His on-ball defense was good and he knocked down several open 3-pointers.
Forwards
Ike Ezeogu Ike Ezeogu 6'5" | PF Blue Springs | 2022 State MO 6’5″ Team YOBO: A very athletic power forward from Blue Springs who was very active around the glass all weekend long. He finished well around the rim, including some impressive dunks in traffic in helping his team to the 16U championship.
Bennett Stirtz 6’4″ 810 Varsity (Cherepkai): A versatile combo forward from Liberty with a nice skill set and a high basketball IQ. He moves without the basketball well, can hit open 3-pointers and finishes in the lane on drives to the basket or with his cutting ability. Young man knows how to play the game.
