Cachao Gianquinto Cachao Gianquinto 6'3" | SG Battle | 2021 State MO 6’3″ Marcus Denmon Elite: A solidly built shooting guard from Battle who has an old-school flair to his game. He plays at his own pace and doesn’t get hurried when he wants to get to his spots on the floor. He can back down defenders to get buckets in the post or he can get by people off the dribble to score on the drive. His 3-point shooting is solid and he can also pass the basketball.
Liam Weaver 6’4″ Marcus Denmon Elite: Steady wing player from Pembroke Hill who is a coach’s dream because he can fill any role to help a team succeed. He scores mainly on smooth drives to the bucket, but he can also rebound, facilitate the offense with his passing, take charges on defense and do all of the little things that don’t always go noticed on the court.
Runey Hernandez Runey Hernandez 6'5" | SF Truman | 2021 State MO 6’6″ 810 Varsity- Burnett: A tall and rangy wing player from Truman with good handles and ability to attack the basket with his quick first step. He is very active with his motor and length to make plays at both ends of the floor. I like how he uses the glass when he finishes on his drives.
Najee Williams Najee Williams 6'3" | SG Truman | 2021 State MO 6’3″ Marcus Denmon Elite: The bouncy wing from Truman is one of the most explosive athletes in the KC area. He attacked the rim for big slam dunks in transition and in the half court offense. His skill level is also very good as he shot the 3-pointer well and handled the ball. He is also an excellent defender who can lock down his man or dart into the passing lanes.
Connor Robertson 6’4″ 810 Varsity – Burnett: The sharpshooter was consistently knocking down 3-pointers throughout the weekend. In the semifinals, he hit six 3-pointers in the second half to shoot his team from a 20-point deficit to a near comeback victory. Not only does he have deep shooting range, but he has a quick release to go with it. He will be doing a year of prep at Sunrise Christian.
Javion Byers Javion Byers 6'2" | CG Liberty | 2021 State MO 6’2″ Team YOBO I: A very solid performer from Liberty who is strong with the basketball and will make good decisions. He can get to the basket with tough takes through contact and make open 3-pointers. He is also a solid defender.
