Omarion Blount Omarion Blount 6'1" | CG Washington | 2021 State NC | 6’1 Guard | Washington | 2021
Blount is an explosive guard that constantly finds ways to make plays when he’s on the floor. He does well at 6-foot-1 to use his size and length to his advantage to get to the rim and create opportunities. He put up 17.8 ppg, 4.9 rpg and 1.7 apg in 2019-20 in the backcourt for Washington High School. With Rashod Smith Rashod Smith 6'0" | PG Washington | 2020 State NC graduating after this past season, it will be interesting to see how he adjusts as the lead guard.
Jamauri Bryant | 6’3 Forward/Wing | Washington – 2021
Bryant was a productive frontcourt player for the Washington PamPack in 2019-20, producing 13.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals per contest during his junior season. He’s finding his way as a versatile threat on the wing and in the post. As he expands his game to the perimeter more in 2020-21, he’ll be another prospect ot keep an eye on at Washington.
Daylin Brown | 5’6 Point Guard | South Central | 2023
Brown is a speedy floor general with a knack for making plays for others in bunches. He put up a team-high 6.6 assists per game to go along with 11.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.7 steals per contest during his freshman campaign. Head coach Chris Cherry has yet another shifty guard at his disposal with years to develop his craft.
Nasiar Blackston Nasiar Blackston 6'4" | CG Wilson Prep | 2021 State NC | 6’3 Wing/Guard | Wilson Prep | 2021
Blackston led the scoring attack for Wilson Prep in 2019-20, producing 15.6 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 1.7 spg and 1.3 apg as they went 18-8 on the season and made it to the second round of the 1A NCHSAA State Playoffs. They’ll return a solid group with some newcomers that should boost their profile in 2020-21.
Adrian Land | 6’0 Shooting Guard | Wilson Prep | 2022
Teams in need of a sharpshooter on the perimeter, look no further than Adrian Land. He’s a confident shooter that made 69 3-pointers in 2019-20 during his sophomore season, while averaging 12.0 points per game. He made seven 3-pointers on two separate occasions in 2019-20 including in a 31-point performance against North Edgecombe. He’ll be a sharpshooter to keep an eye on along with a few other names there like Nayshin Waller Nayshin Waller 6'3" | CG Wayne Country Day | 2023 State NC and Omarreyon Johnson.
William Brimmer William Brimmer 6'2" | CG New Bern | 2023 State NC | 6’3 Forward/Wing | New Bern
Brimmer hit the ground running on New Bern’s varsity squad in 2019-20, putting up 16.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.6 assists per game. He’s a versatile threat that’s already making an impact on the floor with his ability to attack the rim with his athleticism and length. As his overall games continues to develop, he’s a young prospect to keep an eye on in the 252 area.
Tyriq Hicks | 6’0 Guard | New Bern | 2021
Hicks is one of the upperclasmen on the New Bern roster with tremendous upside in the backcourt. He had a solid outing in 2019-20, producing 7.6 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 2.7 apg and 2.3 spg. He’s a two-way guard that makes his presence felt when he’s on the floor whenever possible. After getting experience under his belt this past season, he’s another break out prospect to watch at New Bern in the 252 area.
