Jamie Kaiser | 6’4” SG | Lake Braddock
A dual sport athlete that’s a star on the football field as well, Kaiser was an immediate impact guy for Braddock as a freshman with his size and skill set on the wing. A natural athlete that thrives in transition, Kaiser is a guy who can play and guard multiple positions and makes an impact on both ends of the floor in a number of ways. He’s a good shooter from deep both off the catch and off the dribble, he’s a good finisher around the rim and he rebounds well for his position too.
Justin Boggs | 6’2” SG | Bishop Ireton
Boggs is an intriguing prospect who had a good freshman season as a role player off the bench in the WCAC, and he’s a guy who will do whatever it takes to help his team win. The 6’2” off guard is a good athlete who uses it on both ends of the floor, and he’s able to make contested shots both off the catch and off the bounce. He’ll be a guy that will be interesting to watch develop moving forward.
Margad Choijilsuren | 6’1” SG | Fairfax
Cjoijilsuren may have a tough name to pronounce and spell but we’ll have to get used to it because he’s going to be the guy taking over at Fairfax next year. He played sparingly on a senior ladened team that was experienced at all positions, but he still showed flashes of brilliance on both ends as he’s a tough minded and high motor guard with skill to him. He can make shots from deep and get by guys off the bounce, he makes good reads and good decisions defensively and he thinks the game very well.
Chance Briggs Chance Briggs 6'4" | SF Hargrave | 2023 State VA | 6’3” SF | Chatham
Briggs is one of the guys we mentioned from a smaller market that showed you don’t have to be from a big area to be a hooper with potential. The Chatham wing is a guy who has great size and a good skill set for his age, and he had a great freshman season and shows good potential moving forward as well. He’s a guy who can score it in a number of ways, he plays multiple positions for his team and he’s a good athlete as well.
Isaiah Coleman Isaiah Coleman 6'5" | SF Word of God | 2023 State #59 Nation NC | 6’3” SF | Chancellor
Coleman is a guy who had to play center on his high school team at times due to him being one of the taller and more athletic guys on the court, but he’s a guy at 6’3” that’s talented and athletic enough to play multiple positions right now and moving forward. At 6’3” with good length, he can handle and create his own shot, he can make shots from multiple levels and he’s a good rebounder which allows him to be a mismatch as he can play and guard so many positions. He led Chancellor in scoring this year as a freshman and looks like he could be the best underclass prospect in the Fredericksburg area.
Logan Rhoades Logan Rhoades 6'2" | CG Mills Godwin | 2023 State VA | 6’0” SG | Mills Godwin
Rhoades, who’s the son of VCU Head Coach Mike Rhodes, was quietly one of the better freshman in the Richmond area for a young Godwin team that had their ups and downs. As expected he’s a highly intelligent and savvy player who knows the game and thinks it well, and he shoots the ball particularly well from deep and can get hot in a hurry. He’ll need to continue to get stronger and develop the rest of his game but he does one of the most important things well and he’s got the right supporting cast to get better moving forward.
