Rettek Owens Rettek Owens 6'3" | SF Mauldin | 2022 State SC – Mauldin HS – Big Shots SC CPA 2022
Owens is a new name for me this summer. Owens is the ultimate team guy for the Mavericks. Owens isn’t flashy on the floor but just brings constant effort. Owens understands his role on his team playing for his father Nathan Owens. Owens has the ability to play multiple positions on the floor. Owens does the little things to make your team win games along with rebounding the ball on both ends of the floor.
Caleb Gore Caleb Gore 6'4" | PF Blythewood | 2022 SC – Blythewood HS – Carolina Pressure 2022
Gore was really able to get to the foul line a lot today in the game Prep Hoops took in. Gore isn’t flashy at all on the hardwood. Gore always seems to be around the ball and manufactures great activity. Gore uses his left-hand to finish around the basket. Gore plays on a very talented basketball team for the Bengals.
Kendal Parker Kendal Parker 6'4" | NA lbs | SF Gray Collegiate | 2022 #NA Nation AL – Gray Collegiate – Carolina Cavs White
Parker 6’4 was so effective around the basket for his squad. The Cavs were wearing (Big Shots jerseys for the weekend). Parker left-handed forward was able to take the ball coast to coast or knockdown the short baseline jumper. Parker was active in the paint and vocal on the floor for his squad. Parker had 14 points in a opening round win.
John Kurkis John Kurkis 6'6" | SF Spartanburg | 2022 State SC – Spartanburg HS – Overtime Grind (OTG) (pictured on the front)
Kurkis was a pleasant surprise yesterday in a game vs Flight 22 16U Wilmington. Kurkis finished with 19 points and connected on 3 three pointers. Kurkis likes to play face-up to the basket and has a nice touch from the perimeter. Kurkis could be more of a factor this coming season for the Vikings looking down the road.
