Colleges of all different levels would find it worth their time to check in on the players highlighted in this series. Oftentimes, these players do not get nearly the amount of looks that you might think. Follow the links highlighted for part one, two and three. Below is part four of some of the names to know out of Eastern Washington in the 2021 (rising senior) class.
2021 6’0 CG Jayden Martinez Jayden Martinez 5'11" | CG Chiawana | 2021 State WA (Chiawana HS) is a sleeper out of the Tri-Cities. Chiawana High School seems to stay with sleeper prospects and Martinez is one of those in the 2021 class. He can fill it up from the outside shooting three off the catch or bounce. It is not uncommon for the 6’0 guard to explode for 25+ points. A skilled offensive player that could instantly help some small colleges.
2021 6’3 PF Kylo Anderson Kylo Anderson 6'3" | PF Mt. Spokane | 2021 State WA (Mt. Spokane HS) has gotten better the more time he has spent in the Mt. Spokane program. He came in as a raw athlete, but he is quickly adding to his all around game on the offensive end. Anderson is a quality team defender and does little things to help his team win games. Although undersized at the four, he is a recruitable prospect that could help some teams in the NWAC as a tough athlete that plays a team game.
2021 6’0 G Nate Phillips Nate Phillips 6'0" | CG Cashmere | 2021 State WA (Cashmere HS) is a tough guard out of Cashmere. He is a capable three point shooter and scorer and has done so at a good rate over the years for his high school. I recently highlighted his brother Sam and some school may be able to get themselves a twin duo in the backcourt!
2021 6’1 G Teagan Hoard Teagan Hoard 6'1" | CG Central Valley | 2021 State WA (Central Valley HS) was a member of the 4A second place finishing team this past season and he played a solid role in the team’s success. Hoard is a gritty defender, above average outside shooter and he attacks the basket with aggression and body control to finish over length. His junior season highlights are also now attached to his profile!
2021 6’2 SG Hodges Flemming (Gonzaga Prep) exploded onto the scene this past season. Flemming can do a little bit of everything on the floor at 6’2. He has the skill and athleticism to score 25+ points in tough GSL league games and he is an all around consistent scorer. He figures to be one of the top players in the GSL this upcoming season. He is not in the current rankings system, but he projects to be ranked in the top 45 in the next update!
